Café on Main

This is small deli on Main Street. As the name implies. There are just a couple of tables and it gets very crowded. Being aimed at tourists it is way over priced. Two sandwiches, two bags of chips, a Coke, and a water were $29 before any kind of tip. The food is okay but nothing special. I can't say how it compares to other options in town but as it stands this would not be my first choice and I am not sure I would go back.

Excellent food and very friendly staff, we sat outside and even with a long line and greater-than-usual wait times, we got our delicious soups, sandwiches, and hot drinks for great prices. A must-stop if in the the area!!

There are cheaper places and there are some places where you feel bummed out you paid what you paid, but here, you'll pay a bit but you'll get good food, plentiful portions and fresh ingredients. Soup and sandwich is a good deal, Clam chowder is delicious and the curried chicken salad. I'm the Summer they have creemees

Nice, cute place to stop for hearty soups, salads and sandwiches. Really enjoyed the curried chicken salad sandwich and the broccoli salad. Desserts look delicious, but didn't have a chance to try them.

Excellent sandwich shop conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend for an unfussy bite in the heart of Stowe.

Check their Facebook page for specials. I consider these guys the soup specialists of Stowe! Friendly staff. Imaginative salads and sandwiches. Great place to grab something to go. Plenty of parking behind the building.

Decent coffee shop but not worth breakfast. It's convenient from where we were but others were better. Didn't try the coffee - we went for breakfast but it's conveniently located and not something I'd avoid but not going out of my way to go back for breakfast.
