Located on the edge of downtown Stowe, this cute small shop offers a delicious meal and a great atmosphere to eat and hang out in. Staff are super friendly and their options are diverse. In the back they have coolers full of various IPAs from both local and external breweries. There are art pieces all over that you can buy to support local artists, and plenty of little gifts for those who are just passing through the area. We've come here multiple times over the past few years, I've found it to be the go to coffee shop for me when I'm in the area.

Great atmosphere and pleasant staff. This was my go-to for breakfast, my morning caffeine dose, and to do a little work on my laptop. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, the pastries solid, and the lattes are great.
Update - I got to watch a baker making pastries today. It was fascinating to watch and they were really pleasant. They told me about the process, what they were making, and how they got into baking. I highly recommend checking it out!

Celiac Friendly! Gluten free bread and options!
Wonderful coffee shop with many drinks, treats and food. Many sandwiches can be made with gluten free bread and they document if you have celiac so the kitchen is even more careful.

Amazing quick stop for coffee and snacks.
The flavors they came up with are very interesting.
I loved the banana bread here.
I highly recommend this place.

Really delicious choice of food and beverage. The cafe also have a small corner to sell local goods . The only downside is the bathroom which needs some maintenance and fixing of the door lock. Free wifi and friendly staff.

Really good place to grab a coffee with delicious breakfast. Their sandwiches are one of the best I've ever tried. But minus one star for incorrect information on their website. All food is $2 more expensive in store than says online and when I was choosing the place to have a breakfast in I didn't expect that the prices will be higher in store. I understand that the prices are getting higher all the time, but it literally takes few minutes to change them online so customers wouldn't be confused.

Black Cap Coffee and Beer in Stowe, VT is a must-visit for coffee and food lovers. Their cold brew is smooth and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich is delicious, with crispy bacon, perfectly cooked egg and melted cheese. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Highly recommended!

Great coffee shop in Stowe. Tons of flavors to choose from for your Latte. I got the maple latte which is fairly good if you like something sweet and simple. Good porch and seating to relax and watch the cars go by.

This coffee and beer place is amazing. If you like coffee, this place is good for you also with beer. They have more selections for snacks too. You can order anything you like on their menu. Coconut Blueberry tart, so good.

Don’t go there if you are hungry. We ordered 4 sandwiches at 12:03. At 12:40 still nothing while the place was not even crowded. Our kid starting to get impatient and we got offered a chocolate croissant which was nice. 12:50, someone from the staff came to us telling us they ran out of lettuce for our BLTs. They offered refund which is nice again. Food finally arrived 50 min later. 1h for 4 sandwiches come on…
other customers got impatient and the only answer from a not very friendly waitress was « we are working on it ».
They have a real kitchen organisation problem.
The pro is that all their pastries are home made an delicious.
Will not go back.
