I had a nice mocha on a slightly chilly Friday afternoon here. The employees were very attentive and courteous. Based on the people I saw coming in, I think this place is a great place to study or meet people...maybe strike an interesting conversation with a stranger.

Without a doubt, one of the premier third wave coffee roasters in SLC. Blue Copper has a mix of single origins and blends. While blends sometimes get a bad reputation, Blue Copper's house blend is pretty amazing and is some of the best cold brew I have ever had.

My oh my. A died and gone to heaven experience. The coffee, especially their own blends, is/are spectacular. It was on our last day in Salt Lake City. And I just happened to come across an article on the Steampunk 4.1 drip coffee unit that is designed and built in Salt Lake City. When I saw that Blue Copper had one, I grabbed my buddy of many years whom we were staying with and headed out for the holy pilgrimage to check out the coffee and the machine. What a great morning that was!

Delightful drinks and lovely atmosphere. I was able to find a spot to work for a few hours and had both some coffee as well as a delicious medley tea. I can't recall my barista's name but he told me to be sure I come back. I agreed.
Only downside is that it *is* a little bit small and can get pretty noisy even partially filled up. Maybe some more soft chairs at the tables, also?

Today was my first and last time in this shop. I accidentally forgot to inform the barista I need soy milk instead of regular milk in my drink, the barista was very nice and accommodating but his trainer was incredibly rude and condescending. Instead of politely telling me the ingredients were expensive and the error was on my part that I'd need to pay for the replacement, she was snapped at me, making me feel belittled and humiliated. I've been a barista for local coffee shops before, I understand buying great, local ingredients can be costly but this was uncalled for.

One of the best coffee shops in the city (alongside publik and the rose). After changing ownership and name (from Nobrow), I was worried about the future of the location. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality may have even increased. This is one of the few places to find higher end coffee such as Ritual.

Building is beautiful and seating is ample.

I got the iced coffee and it tasted like chemicals. I was not a fan of this coffee shop. I was very excited to come here after seeing the other reviews and the many people outside. I will not be coming back.

My FAVORITE coffee spot in the downtown area when I'm craving high quality, uniquely flavored espresso. If you're a mocha frap kinda coffee drinker or you like the flavor of burnt AF espresso, this is NOT the place for you. The roasters and baristas really know their sh*t here and it shows in each of their drinks. If you haven't tried the cortado, get ready to meet your new favorite milky espresso drink. I get that nectar of half espresso half steamed milk every time and without fail I be like "Damn that was good."

The coffee was amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the staff was friendly. It has a small lounge and they roast their own coffee. Love it and will definitely be coming back!

Location is great but a bit hipster. Reminds me of my old neighborhood in Oakland. Kind of gentrified old burned out part of town that's getting 'revitalized' by some rich kids. O well, soon no one will be able to afford the rent there, but that's progress...nevertheless, it's the only place near the trax train, so I go in there. Its super cool, as in, austere. As in sterile. It's like an airport; or a hospital in a submarine. They defenitly have cooler tattoos then yours....The issue is, I just want coffee with some soy milk in it. I don't do cow's milk. I don't need locally fermented almond, organic rice or renewable coconut milk....but I've been there twice and both times, they don't have soy milk for some reason. So I get it black and its so so so so so freaking strong!! So strong it's sour in the corners of your mouth and it burns my stomach out immediately. If I wanted 5 shots of espresso, I would have asked for it. Kids, back off the grounds a little bit. Its strong as bong water...tastes like licking an ash tray.
