Joe's Cafe

I had the Denver omlette and to say the portions are generous would be an understatement. Every time we go to Joe's I try a different dish. I haven't had a bad one yet.

OVERVIEW - 5.0
Came here for colleagues last meal before he went on to a new change in his life, this was his recommendation based off of the recommendation of his in-laws. Interesting story: he choked on his meal (biscuits and gravey) and almost had to receive the heimlich maneuver (he was seconds away, if I wouldn't have confused him smacking my arm to get attention for smacking my arm in agreement to the conversation.)

LOCATION - 5
You have to keep your eyes pealled for this cafe along the busy State Street, where turning left to park can be a challenge during lunch hour traffic.

PRICE - 5
I was actually impressed by the reasonable prices per food quantity ratio.

PRODUCTS/SERVICE - 5
I ordered the ABC Burger which was spectacular! The ABC stood for Avacado, Bacon, and Cheese. As you can see from my photos, the burger did not fall short of impressive. This is the first and only burger I have ever consumed that required utensils! The burger was amazingly delicious! The one disadvantage was, however, throughout the cafe, the floors were rather sticky, like someone had had a slip n' slide competition with soft drinks. I did enjoy all of the photos plastered all over the walls. It is great to see his interactions through the years.

I would recommend requesting the suggestions from Joe. As we were leaving he recommended some real good burgers/sandwiches for our return visit.

Joe is a great guy. He is very loud, with an aggressive personality.

Great food, happy customers, happy staff! Genuinely a great vibe in such a tiny cafe, and everyone was extremely friendly and happy to help. Loved the giant stack of tiny pancakes!

We have been coming here for a long time....David is the best and AWSOME cook they have and their servers are very good...Especially server Jennie.....She"s the best....

Flavor had me closing my eyes. You can taste the love in all that food. Come get some. Super Friendly atmosphere. Easy five stars

Great food, fun atmosphere. It was a little crowded and we had some trouble getting a table, but we went at a really busy time and the crowd was just a testament to the tremendous food.

First time here and it was really good! I'll visit once a while. The only thing I didn't like was the bacon, they were too salty for my liking.

Great portions, great service, great prices

3/31/21 update - Still one of the best places in Utah for breakfast.Just took my Grandkids to Joe's for breakfast and the kids really enjoyed the food and meeting Joe. Fun time and great food.

You’re in luck if you come on a Sunday! You might just meet Joe himself. Also the food is great!
