Staff/service were amazing (Thanks Jesus!!)! Food was hands down delicious. We got the loaded hashbrowns, lemon blueberry pancakes, a caramel cream breve, and some refreshers. Everything was perfect! Refresher was out of this world too. Also love that they showcase local artists work for sale!! Loved this painting above our table. Great breakfast choice for our trip!!!

We enjoyed this place so much on our trip. There was a wait to be seated, but it was worth it. The food was incredible as well as the service we got from Jesse. From the moment we sat down Jesse came over introduced himself, got our drink order, brought outlr drinks, gave us time to look over the menu, answered questions. Very friendly and tentative to his tables. Their vast menu of drink options, smoothies, breakfast, lunch was a lot to take in. This is a down home Cafe feel with their biscuits and drinks served in Mason jars. The food had a lot of flavor and was not bland at all. Portion sizes were well worth the price paid. I rate this as a must if visiting South padre, just keep in mind get there early help reduce your wait, this restaurant is not open late, but their service and food more than make up for that. We will definitely be back on another trip.

Words literally can’t express how wonderful & delicious this place is! This is our 2nd year in a row we’ve been coming to Padre for vacation & also our second year eating at the Grapevine Cafe, this time we stayed a week and ate here every day for breakfast (brunch). The chicken & waffles is my personal favorite but I’ve tried several other things on the menu and was not disappointed. The manager & owner (whose name escapes my memory) is polite, friendly, & remembered our names by our second visit, he was also working every day to make sure things went smoothly & interacted with every guest which I found amazing! There’s usually a small wait but I promise the food & friendly service is worth it! We’ll be coming back every year even if just for the food 😁 easily one of the best food places on the island! Also if you’re a coffee lover they roast their coffee beans themselves & it’s amazing!

Excellent! They serve breakfast all day, in case you sleep in. There was no wait for us to be seated. Jehu promptly came to get our order, and he was very attentive throughout. I love that they have a very extensive menu. 👍🏼 I had a breakfast taco, which has 3 scrambled eggs in a 10" flour tortilla. I added bacon, beans, and cheese. It was perfect! My husband had the Western Omelette, and he said it was exactly what he wanted. I'm sure we'll be back to try other things on their menu.
Fabulous service, delicious food, nice atmosphere, and enjoyable tunes! 🙌🏽

My sister and I got there decently early in the morning around 9 and it looked very busy but luckily they were able to squeeze us in on the bar. We ordered the cinnamon roll french toast and the apple cinnamon pancakes and all I could say was WOW! The food definitely taste as good as it looks, 100% recommend!

Holiday weekend. 4th of July to be exact. Get there early unless you don't mind the wait. Food was great, servers are super nice and attentive. Coffee was great as well. We will definitely be back.

This place was simply amazing.
We had the French toast, breakfast tacos and the Cuban.
Our waiter Russell was perfect(he was perfect on the eyes too). His customer service was a 10 and even gave us tips on things to do with the kids.
We ordered 4 smoothies for the kids and they were just as good as the food. We will definitely be back!!!!!!

I live on the road. Today I found myself on South Padre Island Texas.
The grapevine cares enough about coffee that they actually roast in-house.
Our party ordered a hot and cold drink. Both were crafted to absolute perfection. The espresso is not burnt, but has a rich complex flavor.
Highly recommend. It's worth the drive to enjoy their cup.

This is my new favorite restaurant on the island. The Bananas Foster pancakes were amazing! I’m still thinking about them a week later. The flour tortillas and chilaquilas traditional were also really good! I ended up going back every morning for the rest of my trip. I recommend getting there early. This place is well known for having incredible food and terrific service!

Ok, I cannot say enough good things about this place! Husband had Huevos a la Mexicana. I had Spanish omelet. One kid had French toast. Other kid had apple cinnamon pancakes. I was afraid we would be disappointed. The Spanish omelet may be my favorite omelet I have ever had in my life. Their salsa was served warm. The flavor was amazing!
My husband and I usually taste what the other ordered, but we each liked our own food so much we didn't even offer.
He did say he would order the huevos a la Mexicana if we got back. It looked amazing, but the Spanish omelet was perfect, so I would have a hard time trying something new.
The refried beans were soooooo good! They had an awesome flavor, even without the salsa.
Both kids were happy with their food too.
We got there pretty early, so we were seated right away. Food came super quickly.
By the time we left there were tons of people waiting inside and outside. The entire restaurant was already packed. Obviously word has gotten around about how good their breakfast is.
