The Olde World Bakery & Café

A happy hippie cafe and bakery with plenty of tasty options, even for a vegetarian like me! Try the veggie bread or the quiche. They have friendly and authentic service. We sat at the center table beneath the skylight, adorned with a painting of a tree with some Bob Dylan wisdom growing up the branches. Their other tables are considerably tamer, but no less charming, so stop on in!

What a great place to eat! It's family owned and the food is delicious! Everything was fresh and their chicken salad was really, really good. Their bread is made fresh in house!

Absolutely wonderful! Spinach salad with a side of devine chicken salad to die for. The nest darn brownie I've ever eaten. Clean with a friendly environment. Will definitely return for more.

My first time in Smithville and let me say that they are so lucky to have them here. Latte is spot on and the best scones I've ever had. Breakfast sandwiches are killer too!

These folks were great, family owned, local, homemade, joyous embrace ! They make their own biscuits and breakfast, pastries, coffee drinks with love. We were absolutely delighted to be welcomed one morning when we wandered in. Consider no longer, stop by!

One of the best breakfasts I have ever had!!! Eggs are amazing!!

We had the Monday Special of Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatos, green beans and a roll, with a side soup of broccoli n cheese. It was all so delish! Little one had the Pepperoni grilled cheese and she couldnt get enough. Bakery items are awesome as well. Everyone was friendly. I thought the black cat was a statue at first so it scared me when it moved haha but it was nice and wasnt bothersome (Im a dog person :)

Wonderful breakfast spot! The eggs over medium were delicious. Bacon was great. Toast was tasty. Coffee was good. Service was outstanding!
