The Olde World Bakery & Café

We drive the Houston - Austin round trip once or twice monthly to visit family and Olde World Bakery & Café just became our favorite “stop” on the drive home to Houston. In addition to “better than Starbucks” coffee, my husband ate a yummy blueberry muffin (yes, I had a bite!), while I had an amazingly delicious cup of chicken noodle soup (no, I did NOT share! 😂) which had lots of flavorful chunks of chicken, huge noodles and delicious veggies in a super tasty chicken broth. It’s a family run business and they try to use as many fresh, local ingredients as possible. We WILL be back soon!

Had a memorial service for my sons' mom, catered by Cammy and her staff. Great food and very welcoming atmosphere. Thank you so very much for what you did.

Great place for breakfast. I had the pancakes and couldn't (and shouldn't have) finished them. Of course I poached on my wife's omelette and it was very good too. Nice place for family.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and kid friendly! I love that theft have a corner for little kids to be entertained. Good place to meet up with friends and meet new friends. One of my favorite places in this town.

Delicious breakfast. Breakfast wrap, big breakfast, French toast, pancakes were all excellent. It’s not fast food but it’s good food. Be prepared to wait knowing it’s worth it.

Super cute restaurant, small hometown feel. Great food with a good selection on the menu. Owner is awesome, I am happy we stopped in for brunch. I would recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Good veggie sandwich. Mocha is definitely recommended, which is served in actual ceramic cup and it beats Starbuck anytime. Staff is very friendly. Glad we stopped by at this bakery while going to Houston
