San Angelo's IHOP is looking really run down. We were on a wait list for a table. Used the restroom. RR was dank, funky smelling and unkept. The dinning area had several dirty and partially bussed tables. Why? Folks are waiting. Also noticed two booths with worn & torn seats. Young man at the Host Stand seating people was wearing a head scarf. My years of service in the F&B industry said to me dirty RR's, dirty, torn booths seat & tables and unprofessionally dressed staff meant THIS eatery was not the place to eat. This restaurant needs a significant makeover and staff retraining on how to present a clean, professionally run iconic breakfast restaurant. Very sad state of condition.

Honestly, I didn’t even want to give it a star. I placed an online order and it was supposed to be ready 25 min later. My husband arrived 10 min later than the est time just in case they were running behind. When he got there the two waiters brushed him off at first. Finally someone showed up to assist him and they couldn’t find the online order receipt. My husband showed showed his receipt hoping to help them find the order. Once the order was found the waitress told my husband it was ready but he still had to wait another 15 min. When my husband became fed up and asked for a manager the order magically appeared ready. If i hadn’t already paid for my food i would have told my husband to leave. I will Never Never order from this location again especially reading the other reviews about how the inside appearance is poor and i love ihop. And to top it off the food was bad!!!!

The waitress was very friendly and easy to talk to. She was very patient with our group and our many order changes. The food was not very good for you, but I like to think of it as soul food because I felt pretty good afterwards considering the amount of sugar I had eaten.

Take too long… need more attention to customers waitress don't even bother asking you if your needing anything have to get up if you need something we didnt even finish our meal we had to keep getting up to get attention for refills napkins ect. Not one time they bothered coming up and checking if everything was okay wouldnt come back..

We got to IHOP at about 10:20 p.m. There was one table of 5 people there, but we stood there waiting to be seated almost 5 minutes. Girl tried to seat us at table right next to that table which our chairs would have been touching. Ask for another table and was told only other available table was dirty. Again, there was only one table being used. Told her we would wait for table to be cleaned. This took another 10 minutes. We finally just sat at another table and pulled tables together. There was 7 of us. Girl then came to clean table and yelled across room asking us if we still wanted that table. She then cleaned the table before coming to take our order.
Made our order...45 minutes later our order arrives. Eggs were rubbery with burnt edges, hash browns we're almost black and so crispy you couldn't put a fork in them, pancakes were crispy and snapped when you tried to cut them. No refills in drinks offered. Tried to get workers attention but they all stood/sat on other side of dining room and never looked our way. Another table came in and we tried to get their waitresses attention but she ignored us. Finally our waitress came by and I complained. She said she will tell her mgr and I said just send him to our table. Told him of our experience and he did make another plate (came out fast and looked very fresh and appetizing), made server get us refills, and took care of our ticket. Only good thing that came from the entire visit last night. This is the 3rd time we've been to this IHOP and service/food was crappy all three times. I DO NOT recommend this IHOP at all. It was almost 1 a.m. when we finally got out of there. Ridiculous!!

My family and I went last night after having a bad experience at Denny's. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. The wait for food wasn't unreasonable and the quality was top notch. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and fresh. Will definitely go back.

I took my little to breakfast and we ended up forgetting our "to-go" plate, which had all of my pancakes that I didn't get to eat and half of my gigantic omelette. When I realized. I rushed back in and it had already been thrown away.

However, the manager went ahead and had the cooks make me a new fresh stack and a new omelette. Honestly it was so nice and I really appreciated it. Waitress was awesome and I will definitely be going back.

We ordered and the food took a long time. 2 of the 3 plates were cold. Not sure what was going on. But the manager showed up like she knew there might be an issue and asked how everything was she wasn't surprised by our response. She was nice about it and apologized and comped our whole check. Will probably go back at some point and give them a second chance since the manager handled it great.
