I came here thinking the food would be good because of all of the high ratings. Need less to say, there are cockroaches on the ground in the middle of the restaurant. That is disgusting and I will not be returning.

Delicious food, but be careful when ordering spice level!! Level 1 is decently spicy but level 2 will have you crying for your mama. The Curry Fried Rice is my number one order, and so is the Pad Thai. Best place in town to get them!

The food was great and incredibly fast. Fair prices and a ton of flavor. Also helps that the staff was incredibly warm and inviting. I had enough for two meals so I had to get a lot to go!! I will definitely be back.

We just moved here and really wanted to find a nice Chinese restaurant close to us. This was by far the worst we have had unfortunately.
The pho was not pho, the noodles were overcooked, the beef was dry and there was no cilantro. I ordered the beef pho and it was NOTHING like the picture!
The beef and broccoli had 2 pieces of broccoli and all the beef was dry. I literally just ate the rice. :(
My husband's general tsos was so salty he didn't eat it either.
We are not picky eaters! But this was not edible. A waste of $60!!!!

We'll be trying again. The Pad Thai was good. The Fried Rice was a little heavy in soy and could use a little more vegetables, nothing I can't order next time. I would not suggest the crab rangoon. I like the cuts of meat used. I like that things are cooked on a wok in the open. Fun to watch. Looking forward to trying other items.

Best Bubble Tea I've ever had! Yes it can be messed up, but the wonderful woman behind the counter makes it taste beyond perfect. If you haven't tried it you must, and if you crave it like I do, coming to this restaurant needs to be priority! Seriously though.... I'm literally going back in for a second one!
**UPDATE** (Since yesterday...lol!): I came back for lunch today and ordered the Lo Mein.... WOW! I'm a very picky eater so this doesn't come easy when I say if this were my last meal before I died, I would be completely happy with that. If I were on death row getting ready for the needle, my last meal would be Lo Mein SPECIFICALLY from THE LOTUS CAFE, SAN ANGELO, TX. You have not lived until you have eaten here. The break down of my dish; beautiful lo mein noodle cooked perfectly (not too soft or too hard; made fresh to order), a healthy serving of mixed vegetables (mushrooms, carrots, mini corn, zucchini, sprouts, snap peas, cabbage, and green onions from what I can see and taste), and a good amount of chicken sliced to bite size pieces all dished up on a nice white platter. The best part is the price to portion. The amount of food I'm getting will serve me for 2 to 3 meals and I paid $8.95. You heard right, $2.98/meal. F'ing fantastic food Lotus Cafe! Keep doing what you're doing!

The blended Boba teas were delicious!
The tables seemed dirty though.

Had the shrimp pho. It was delicious. Spring rolls, pork dumplings, and wontons. All super tasty. Togo, well packaged and easy to carry.

The food was absolutely awful. It tasted like it had been sitting out all day me and my husband couldn’t even eat our meal and we paid $38 for it. Very dissatisfied I would not eat here again..
