Blockhouse Coffee & Kitchen

This place is so cute! so much better than starbucks and the food is awesome. Started coming here about a week ago and I haven't been disappointed. Staff is very friendly too so thats a nice bonus. If you want to do homework or study I do recommend going outside to their front or back patios. It can get a kinda loud in there cause its a small space, and sometimes laughing and loud talking can be a bit distracting.

Coffee was delicious, many options available. I highly recommend the pastries, especially the cream cheese danish, they serve it hot and it's delicious. The staff is friendly, especially Tristan, Jana and Shaz. This is a great place to get some work done or just relaxing on the beautiful patios.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have 5 stars overall (even though it is close to it). It is a great place, awesome coffee and very knowledgeable baristas and staff, beautiful and kid-friendly. There is a chalkboard wall for smaller kids (mine had a blast drawing on it), but it also have an outdoor wooden playground. I’ve been going by myself lately and I’ve even enjoyed the selection of nerdy books they have on their bookshelf. Go visit them. Buy local.

Even though I don’t drink coffee, this a fantastic spot for tea, yummy food and meetings right here in Richmond. I recommend the GF snickerdoodles and avocado toast!

This new coffee spot is amazing! Ordered on door dash, the Vietnamese coffee is nice and strong, breakfast sandwiches are amazing! Will most definitely order again!

Great independent coffee shop that remains a perfect fit for the downtown Richmond area. Great Coffee and breakfast options - including customizing my egg and bacon taco when I mentioned needing it to be carb free. Went out of their way to assure a great breakfast.

It's a very cute place with good coffee. I tried their mint tea with honey and loved it. Next day I tried their Cappuccino. It was good as well but not as strong as I usually like my coffee. I'll be back to try a few more things on their menu.
