Blockhouse Coffee & Kitchen

A true community coffee shop!! I was impressed by Blockhouse from top to bottom. The staff was SUPER friendly and knowledgeable, the sitting areas were very varied depending on what you want to do, and the coffee was fantastic. Blockhouse is built to provide an awesome environment for kids all the way to professionals and I plan on coming back for all kinds of reasons. I'm so happy it's in Richmond!

I’ve been meaning to come here but it’s closed by the time I’m off. So today I had an off day & decided to swing through with the littles. Blockhouse is a whole VIBE. Small but quaint. The decor
is modern but you feel at home. They have a play area outside for the kids so that’s a plus. My drinks I’m going to be honest.. lacked flavor but I won’t hold that against them. It was much cheaper than Starbucks & the area is nice and kid-friendly. I want to try the food so I’ll most definitely return.

Always on the lookout for non- chain local coffee shops, got a chance to visit this. Small town vibes when you reach here. Tastefully decorated and the lady on the counter was friendly and welcoming. Ordered a cortado and cappuccino along with an avocado toast. Everything was delicious. Coffee is of great quality . The toast was awesome- the tomato could be a bit less cold :).
Will visit it again as soon as we can

I found this Gem in Richmond! I ordered a cold brew with their housemade vanilla syrup and a breakfast bagel. Everything was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The service was quick too. Definitely a good spot for a coffee run.

My newfound coffee shop in the Richmond/Rosenberg area. I miss Corazon, but they've relocated to Houston. Discovered Blockhouse Coffee today and I'm a fan.

My cappuccino was well made. I don't know what coffee beans they use, but I hope they don't stop using it. Loved all the pastries I bought, they make it with brioche bread. If they can get an air fryer to warm up the pastries, it will be perfect. Microwaves are terrible at warming up pastries. You need an air fryer oven, it returns the pastries to a crispy finish.

Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program, and I believe they also do Doordash for delivery. Customer service was also good.

On the weekends I like to find little local places to try out. This weekend I was in Richmond and found this little coffee shop hidden in a little shopping center. I have been on Hwy 90 so many times and I never noticed this place. When you first welcome it has a very relaxing feel to it. The staff was very warm and friendly. They have a place in the front and back for outdoor seating. Plus there is also a nice little playground in the back too for the kiddos. My friend had the coffee , but I really enjoyed their hot chocolate.

I always make a stop here when I'm in the area. Unique place. Good/quiet/calm environment. Very inviting. Foods good 👍🏿 drinks are Good. The folks there are awesome 👌🏾.

This coffee shop is absolutely lovely. I really enjoy the coffee and the atmosphere here. Helpful and friendly staff as well. The food is good too. Make sure to stop by and get a cup and a some food which happens to be delicious as well. They also have an outdoor market that is held out back a couple times a month there as well. If you have your kids with you, they have a fun playground so they can enjoy themselves as well.

I stumbled across this beautiful establishment this past Saturday afternoon. The barista was absolutely the kindest and offered the best flat white! I definitely recommend you stopping by for the best coffee in town ❤️

I don't have enough space here to give the proper love to the workers and owners so I'll try and be brief; I love this space because the workers are always so friendly and the owners when present are engaging and caring as well. Service is always the best and I love meeting others from the local community and some from outside that enjoy our little nugget in Richmond. I always look forward to going back and I've never been disappointed. I hope you all come to love it and appreciate it the same way.
