Higher Grounds Coffee Shop

Aside from delicious coffee and surprisingly good food, this place is a true blessing to the community. They provide meeting space for entrepreneurs and bible studies, a gallery for local artists to showcase and sell their art, and more. The Wi-Fi is strong, too, which is always a plus. My go-to "office" space when I'm between meetings in Midland.

Ordered a Pecan Praline that took over 20 mins to be served. It tasted really good though. Took a total of 57 minutes to get my breakfast (only 1 order of scrambled eggs, bacon and toast). There wasn't way too many people to explain the serve time. I wanted to try something that wasn't a chain coffee shop (starbucks) but this too way too long.

Really a wonderful space cranking out some stellar coffee. In town for a work trip, but in need of some real coffee and this place fit the bill. Overheard some fellowship taking place and the good word being shared. Good vibes, great coffee!

Great atmosphere and it’s pretty quiet in here. Coffee is great. Nice place to sit and work.

We waited 30 minutes to get our order while other orders were being called. It was our first time there and I don’t know if time is an issue with getting orders out fast. We also were the only Hispanics in there and I hope that wasn’t an issue. Just bad experience and will not come again.

Wonderful staff and pricing. I only had a coffee but the food looked great. Highly recommended for any time of day or gathering.

I loved this place.... The employees were extremely friendly and the coffee is wonderful! I am working from out of town and I love my local coffee house at home, so I thought I would try to find a local shop here and I am so glad I did.... Extremely happy with this place! Love it! Great coffee and what a great place. Lots of room including a couple of small conference rooms for more private meetings. The staff was very friendly and I will return next time I am in town.

I had heard good things and it looks cool inside, but has horrible service. (At 9am with only a couple customers) First the iced drink came out hot, no big deal, remake that, then waited 30 min for a sandwhich, which turns out they never started making, and they just proceed to try to retake my order, and tell me "not to be rude" when I ask for a refund instead.

Great atmosphere, coffee was legit, cool place to vibe with my lady friend.
