Higher grounds is always a great spot for coffee and breakfast, I love the spicy piglet and the pineapple cream!

This is my go to for getting work done in the afternoon. The coffee is made well, and they have ceramic mugs to choose from if like me, you prefer to avoid single use cups. They also have $5 bottomless drip coffee if you plan to be there awhile. The service is friendly and the space is clean, bright, and quiet. Keep your dollars local and support this little shop.

Higher Grounds is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to spend time on the weekends. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy and very conducive to working on a laptop for a few hours. The staff is always so friendly, and the owner Robert has even gotten to know us by name in the last few visits. The lunch sandwiches are excellent and the coffee is definitely worth stopping by for!

What a great place! The staff and ownership are very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. Coffee was delicious. And you have to try the carrot cake oatmeal! Being from DFW, I have found a safe haven when in the Midland/Odessa area. What a blessing!

I absolutely love this place! I found them because of uber eats with all the craziness happening right now. I love their vanilla chai latte, it is so much better than Starbucks! My husband had a caramel macchiato and loved it! They have delicious muffins and so many other goodies to choose from! They are doing pick up orders and you can also use uber eats to get it delivered to your house. The staff are all super friendly and I would recommend them to anyone! The owner, Robert is very nice and I got to chat with him for a bit while waiting for my order. The inside is really nice, too. Keep them in business and go try it! They're open until 2pm

Everyone there was great! The store is nice and the coffee and food were good. No pomp, just down to earth food. I enjoyed a good meal in there and sat to catch up on emails. No problems, no one was staring at me to leave or asking is they could take my plates. So it was good

Every time I come here they either take forever or the food and drinks are subpar. This time I waited an hour and never got my sandwich so I got a refund instead. Also no one wears masks and if your BIPOC like me you probably won’t feel safe it’s a bunch of yt folk in there. I’m convinced it’s the Christian in them. Their god can’t help them get the orders out and he obviously isn’t providing them w good coping mechanisms. Never again. Sending good vibez tho

The coffee is great if you don’t mind the leangthy wait and only coffee. Atmosphere is a little stiff compared to a competitors location on the north side and I could become a regular if they had a wider breakfast variety. $7.50 a plate for thin soggy microwave bacon dry toast and bland eggs is wild. My husband was not thrilled. Especially if you are picking up your own order and returning it when you are done to a bar area.
