Food and service used to be pretty good , but recently the service has been lacking. Twice I had a call in order which was wrong when I got it home. Both times I ordered shrimp amd they served me catfish. There is a big difference in price and taste. I will give them one more try and if they get it wrong, that will be strick 3.

Great place. Lots of fish favorites as well as comfort food. Friendly and reasonably priced. Will be back again and again and again.

We usually get a large plate of fried fish with the three vegetables at least twice a month. Each time the fish seems like it is the best I have ever eaten from a restraunt. It is amazingly really great ever time. We get it to go each time account wife not able to go inside. Always the people we deal with are very pleasant and easy to deal with.

Shrimp and fish lunch special was prepared well and tasty. Staff was very welcoming. I would definitely stop in again next time I am in the area.

Very crowded on a Sunday noon. Service was good..a little slow getting our food tho. Did not care for the Pesos..seemed over cooked..ground beef was hard dry..needs liquid cheese instead of shredded cheese sprinkled over the top.

Down home cafe. Noisy. Good waitress. Food was average.

Hubby and I both ordered the Fisherman's platter and it was amazing!! Beautifully fried catfish filets, jumbo butterfly shrimp,french fries, pinto beans, and coleslaw. Every bit of it tasted homemade and tasted absolutely delicious. Our server Maelynn was excellent and made sure we were very satisfied. Will definitely be back!!

Delicious. Very crowded and loud but the staff worked their butts off while smiling. Such a nice place to go.

The food was absolutely delicious!!!! My husband had the catfish and I had the shrimp trio with the grilled vegetables and baked potatoe... What can I say but wow best shrimp I’ve had and the portions of the catfish for the price was great...Our waitress Madison was the bomb!!! We will definitely be back next time we are in Mexia or might just drive here from Palestine for the food!!!
