We were told it’s the most popular spot in town. Was not really impressed. The best spot for real country food is the Falcon Club.

Food was really good, our service was fair but the place was not very crowded and it took over an hour to get our meal. Very disappointed in that part.

The food was great , the service was not all that. Excellent , the atmosphere I think is great if your a local .. only because as someone new to the place we stood in line for a while while the server talked to her local Patron.. we. Had to break the conversation to get our order in .. smh .

I went in with a picky crew of 10+ and our waitress Rachel was incredibly patient and professional with each person to make sure their order was exactly right. The food was great as well. It was an excellent experience for an unexpected stop on our trip to Houston.

This place is worth going to, food and service was great! Recommend the Fisherman's plate!

The fried oysters were mushy, half raw & tasted nasty. The hushpuppies were over cooked and the Coleslaw had no dressing mix. It was like eating a cabbage salad. The manager was very understanding and made us some more shrimp. The fried catfish, & shrimp were really good though. The wait staff were very attentive and polite.

Very busy, but worth the wait. Friendly service, if you are new to the area, like we are you might feel a little left out as the manager knows everyone but you. Hushpuppies are the best,baked potatoe soup had a wonderful homemade taste, hamburger steak was just okay and the German chocolate pie is incredible.
