Wife and I had the lunch buffet. Country style food. Everything was delicious and hot. Tasty dessert is included. Our waitress was Amy and she was exceptional. Highly recommend.

This place is the best place I’ve eaten in a long time. The French toast is the best I’ve ever had!!

It's one of the best country cafés you can visit in the entire McGregor and waco area's.

Great place for meeting friends and breakfast, lunch or dinner. Usually like the buffet.

Food had absolutely no taste. I think it was the worst food I've ever tasted. I had catfish(soft fried and limp), black eyed peas (right out of can, not cooked) and fried okra(soft). Nothing was seasoned. My friend had different menu items and couldnt even finish one thing on her plate. Within 5 minutes of leaving the restaurant she was nauseated and had an upset stomach.

It's a little on the run-down side of "homey" but I like a little risk in my life.

The servers and staff are all super friendly and efficient. The food is terrific "home style" The prices still think it's 2009, which means very affordable.

This was my second visit this week, and I'll be back next week too.

Loved it! Amy, our waitress was bubbly and attentive. Went for both breakfast and buffet lunch the next day. All you could want in a hometown cafe.
