Good food, not greasy at all. Never been here before. I had a cheeseburger with fries with no seasoning. It was myself my fiance and my soon to be father in law who is a senior citizen. Staff was friendly and very attentive for being so busy. I also ordered a $10.99 catfish dinner. We were very pleased with our service and food.

Great “country” breakfast. The omelette and hash browns were cooked just right. Highly recommended.

Everything we had was very good. Tastes like your grandma made it and brought it over. I only gave 4 stars because there wasn't many sides to choose from but that's the only reason. We will be back!

All menu items were unavailable at the time of visit due to cook shortage. Dining was for this reason buffet only. The food was thoroughly cooked and served warm the flavors were incredibly bland.

Felt like we weren't welcome... waitress paid more attention to the locals. Had to ask 3x for refills on our coffee, when literally went to everyone else and topped them off. Food was bland. Buffet looked disgusting. French silk pie was the only thing I enjoyed.

Only thing I would improve on is the Hush puppies, I would add a little onion and not cook them as long. They seem to be a little tough an over done. Sorry my opinion.

Still one of the top cafés in America. From home-made favorite's to real home-made ice cream. Price is one of the cheapest in any economy.

Always a at home atmosphere when you walk in, great food and staff. Chicken fried steak is to die for

Today we took a family member to lunch that recently had surgery and is still having to use a cane to walk. She gets around a little slow, so we were behind her. The owner himself took us to be seated, and hurriedly took off to the very back of the restaurant, leaving us to follow. When the family member in front on the cane was finally able to catch up to him, she asked politely if we could be seated closer to the front and nearer the buffet. His response, while looking at her standing there with the use of a cane, was “well, you’re already here, so what difference does it make?” We had passed several empty tables in the front, so I could not see a problem with this request. He also said it loudly enough that several nearby tables heard him, as well as a couple of the employees. The employees were nice enough to come by the table and apologize for the owners rude behavior, and one of the nearby tables also commented on it.
We always look forward to eating there, even if we have to drive 40 miles to do so, but after today, I know of at least 2 groups of people that want be back. Don’t be a rude jackass and expect people to spend their $$ with you. There are dozens of places to eat that will treat their customers with respect.
