Great food. You better try their grilled shrimp salad with their homemade Chipotle Dressing! Out of this world. It's one of their daily specials, but you better check with them to find out which day!

Your average town restaurant. May have went on an off day. Our pancakes were not the taste we expected. My eggs ordered medium, but got easy, runny. The waitress was very informative and attentive, lots of coffee refills.

Lives up to the excellent reputation it has around here. If Anthony Bourdain was still around and came through Madisonville on a shoot, this is where he'd end up. Come for the solid food, but stay for the conversation with everyone from local cowboys to county judges.

Four of us stopped in for lunch on Thursday. The special was "chicken fried Steak" and it really was special. Fresh not frozen and cooked to order. Vegetables and rolls were very tasty. Ended it with homemade peach cobbler topped with ice cream. We spent a week in Texas touring and this was the best meal we had. It would be worth a side trip to enjoy this small town Cafe and atomsphere. Our wives also found some antiques across the street. It doesn't get any more Texan than this.

They have a burger with pimento cheese and a fried egg. I added bacon and jalapeno bun for one hell of a burger. The whole thing was super slippery, so I took out the lettuce, and was able to smush it just enough to fit it in my mouth lol.

Very nice little hometown eatery. This was my first time, but my parents go regularly. Great food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere!! Will definitely be back!

Madisonville is a cute town. There's a real sense of civic pride and small town identity. Walker's is just like the town square, quaint and unapologetic. This is basically a simple small town diner, but it's no greasy spoon. The food is good, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is some old school Mom-and-Pop southern Americana.
