Walker's Cafe

I love Walkers Cafe. If your looking for good small town country food this is the best place to go. The owners are sweet and so is there daughter. It's very cozy and comfortable. It like eating with family if you like eating with your family.

What a wonderful experience! The Waitress was friendly, and very attentive. The restaurant was busy, but the service was awesome. My brother had a club sandwich, and I had the Beef Vegetable Soup. They both where excellent. My niece had delicious Red Velvet Milk Shakes! We got to visit with the local Judge, what a pleasure.
Highly recommend This restaurant, we will be back!

walkers has great food and if you’re dining in a good atmosphere overall, but if you try to order deliver they always give attitude over the phone and/or hang up on you. i’ve been told multiple times that they “don’t have time to take my order right now and to maybe try later” which is extremely unprofessional in my opinion. i’d honestly rather they just not deliver at this point since they always tell me to come pick it up even though i’m at work ://

I'm so glad that my grandma and I stopped here on our way home! We showed up a few minutes after they closed and they still seated us! Their menu has something for everyone, even diabetic options. I ordered the Russell sandwich and my grandma ordered the pimento cheese sandwich. When I asked my grandma how it was, she said it was even better than hers. (Which is extremely high compliment coming from her.) My food was super delish as well. This will probably become a regular stop!

The food was horrible...almost as bad if not as bad as the service! I had taken my mom there for her birthday lunch. When we first entered the restaurant, we were not greeted nor seated. The wait staff were rude. The tea tasted like like instant tea. I had to ask twice for the tea charge to be removed from my ticket. Was not impressed with this place. I do not recommend!

The chicken fried hamburger was awesome!!! Staff was friendly. I was surprised to see they only have powdered artificial creamer for coffee. But the coffee was tasty, you can easily drink it black.

We had a large table. (7 in total) They handled our orders with ease and with experienced confidence. The Friday special was catfish. It was corn bread coated and golden. Delish!! The hush puppies were a tad sweet.

Best breakfast around! Pancakes and Biscuits are delicious. Service and atmosphere are great. Can't wait to go back!!!!

So we decided to stop and try this place because of the sign outside I said vintage sodas. When did I'm staying in grabbing lunch. Grandma had a Reuben sandwich which she absolutely loved and she's a picky eater when it comes to stuff like that everything was portions perfectly wasn't too bitter wasn't too sour everything was just right. I had a cheeseburger with onion rings and oh my God it was the best cheeseburger I've had in a long long time. It was perfect. My son had a chicken cheeseburger he's picky too and it was really really good he loved it. The two younger kids had a three piece Chicken Basket which was big pieces of chicken strips adequately portion fries. As soon as we walked in and it was a nice small little place the older gentleman sitting at a table welcomed us made us feel like friends. The waitress was very very very nice so if you're ever in Madison, Texas. You must stop at the Walker cafe a stop you won't regret.
