Walker's Cafe

Small town "diner" in a historical building located in Madisonville Texas, just off I45 North of Hunstville. They offer a variety of options, including some keto menu items. It's locally owned and operated. The service was good. The food was excellent. Portions are just right, and everything was well seasoned and prepared. The Philly was my dinner. I LOVE the bread it's made on.

Friendly service and we got of club sandwich fast. Sandwich tasted good and fresh as well as the sweet tea! We'll defiantly come back.

Great food, good service, small-town feel. The kind of place where two or three local fellas gather every morning to drink coffee and chat. Get the biscuit/gravy.

We love getting breakfast or lunch here ! Best cooking around ! You will not be disappointed in anything here ! The Philly cheesesteak and chips are the bomb !! Great food , hard working people and fast service ! They also deliver. Highly recommend!!!

While it seems a lot of locals love this place. We stopped by to try it. It wasn't for us. We didn't really like the taste of the food. Customer service was great though . We might try it again when in town and try different types of food

A historical diner on the square in Madisonville; a taste of small town Texas.

It's a small town Cafe that needs a lot of deep cleaning. I guess the locals don't mind it. Lots of tables available for seating. Our waitress wasn't very friendly and brought our tickets to us when she brought out our meals. She placed my friends ticket on top of her pancakes and I got lemon in my water and the lemon still had a bar code sticker on it from the retailer, which tells me they didn't wash it. Flies were horrible and the hood vents needed cleaning and grease all around the walls, lots of caked up dust all over. I didn't leave a tip, because the waitress needs to learn about not touching people's food and again, no masks were being worn. Disgusting. The reviews people were giving were 4.8 out of 5 stars. I was scared to even go use the restroom, afraid of what it might look like if the restaurant was filthy. Ate, paid and left.

Great little Cafe, good service with a great menu including Keto and diabetic items. We will stop again next time we come through. Thumbs up!

Fried fish was excellent on Friday night
