Walker's Cafe

I had the pleasure of having lunch at Walker’s Cafe. I had a club sandwich and my friend had the chicken fried steak. The atmosphere was so friendly and down home. We were made to feel so comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious as well. I would refer anyone driving through to stop and enjoy a meal and the atmosphere.

It's the place to go for good country cooking. We had fish that was delicious

Great local spot! Had the Walker Dip on their housemade Jalapeno Bread (INCREDIBLE) with a side of fries and the Strawberry Shortcake for dessert!

Really good chocolate pie. The service was a little confused but it was Saturday brunch time and they were super busy so that should tell you about the quality of the food. Everyone is short staffed right now so there's that. But smells were fantastic and our family loved the pie.

Tried the chicken fried steak, it was wonderful! Will definitely be returning!

We found this gem! I can recommend the Ham & Cheese Grill. Wow!

I’m from Dallas, and I often met the family in Madisonville to pick up drop off kids, etc. last year, we wanted to try Walker’s Cafe, but they were closed for remodeling. Much to my surprise, this year they were open!

I had the catfish, and it was delicious, which is why I gave it three stars.

The restaurant itself was overly packed. The only and only bathroom was filthy. The door to the bathroom was very close to the kitchen. Flys were everywhere. I couldn’t eat without swatting flies away.

I’m not sure what was remodeled last year, but it doesn’t appear it was Walker’s Cafe.
