IHOP

Food is good as in every IHOP but the service is terrible, no sense of ownership by staff, employees nor the supervisor.

My son very much enjoyed the seasonal pancakes and hot cocoa, they were delicious. I was able to enjoy a great burger. With hot coffee. But Kirk our server, was truly great. I saw as he not only tended to our needs but was on top of the needs of at least 3other tables. Great guy , thanks Kirk.

The food was good but the wait for it wasn't worth it I was at the restaurant for 1 hour and 30 minutes . The one hour was of me waiting to get served and attended then when finally the food got here I took 20 minutes to eat it and another 10 minutes for the wait to pay.

Server was pretty nice at first. Until she was just flat out rude and out of line with us. I understand being short staffed, and servers being stressed, but that’s no reason to snap at customers. Very unprofessional and very rude.

Maybe it's not so fair that I gave it 3 out of 5 but my experience was not great. I have eaten here before but this time it was just bad service and bad food.

The server sat us down as a party but it was very rare she came back to check up on us. She sat at the computer a majority of the time. Coffee was only refilled once,the food took 30 minutes maybe more,the food was just barely warm,the bacon undercooked pale and greasy pancakes were served last for the 1/3 of our party even as attention was called to our waitress she did not try to improve service on her end just ignored us as this was the best she could do.

As said before. This is not the first time here at this location,never complained about IHOP before but this is the first.

Disappointing...
I arrive late so not busy, waiter was kind, seated me and took my drink and food order, since I knew what I wanted... the "Have It All Breakfast" ($11.99)...Hang on to that, I'll get back to it...
1) the drink (Sierra Mist) arrived quickly, but was completely undrinkable- pure soda- no syrup to the mix... off-putting, but it happens, I let it go... I asked for water.
2) food arrives with SHOCKING speed! Good right??? WRONG... there a reason why it takes a few minutes for food to come out... They're cooking it. This case, I am convinced it was cooked a LONG time ago.
* the hash browns were like boring down a mouthful of cold wooden toothpicks!
* the ham tasted... a little bitter... a little off (I hope I don't get sick from it)
☆ the eggs were the only bright spot... but, it only takes a minute to cook eggs
* the bacon was cold and hard and just shattered when I bit it (drying out happens when it's been left under a heating lamp for a long time)!

The music overhead was LOUD and irritating... but the place was clean...

Finally, I go to check out... I hand my card without hearing the price - $16.85??? What? Are you trying to tell me that taxes in Laredo are $.50 on the dollar?
Wait... how the fuuu... um... OK... $11.99 - oh, I added cheese to the scrambled eggs... I know inflation is ridiculous, but did that cheese just cost me $3.25+ (Plus another ~$1.25 for taxes)???
They had to have our charged me for a soda I couldn't drink...
Plus... I'm in uniform... one never NOT received a military discount at an ihop... if I did this time, then that was expensive cheese and a soda I couldn't drink!

Like I said, disappointing... I guess I know one ihop that I'll not be going to again!

Stuck in hotel while working in town, only place to eat that supposed to be decent since we can’t drive around. Service is not good, other customers was walking out since they couldn’t get service. This is probably the worst ihop I been to. The only days that it’s decent is when the new waitress waits on us, and her trainer.

HORRIBLE experience!!!!!! I know this review will fall on deaf ears but here it goes anyways . We went to IHOP here in Laredo to get some pancakes and we were expecting a 2 hour wait as usual but when we showed up much you our surprise the place was half empty and only a couple of people ahead of us . We were expecting maybe a 15/20 minute wait then the THREE yes THREE hostesses told us they were not sitting anymore patrons because the were very short on staff and they had a 20 person party so they were not going to be sitting patrons in a timely nature . We expect this kinda of behavior in Laredo. It is the the Laredo way but it still surprised me. Will never go back , totally the opposite when we go to the IHOP in San Antonio . Did not even feel like an IHOP here in Laredo. The staff was very unprofessional

Excelent service, a super delicious

Great place, very clean and fast seating service... very friendly staff. They took a little bit of time to serve but it was understandable due to the amount of guests. Also food was great.
