The General Public

This was our second time here and unfortunately the service does not match the amazing food and atmosphere. The first time we were greeted by a bartender who gave great service until the end when we asked for our check. 10 mins later we notice her leave and we still didn’t get our check. We would have loved to pay and tip her but she was too busy on Snapchat to want our money.

Our second experience we were greeted and asked for waters. Another 10 mins later, us confused as to why we haven’t received our water yet we notice the bartender that took our order leaving. When we were finally approached by the other bartender we explained that his co worker had taken our order and left. He replied with an explanation that he was going on break. That’s fine but why wouldn’t you at least get us waters and let the other bartender know we needed service?

Needless to say we will not be coming back until the staff decides to at least give half a care about their customers. Management and staff both seem bored and unbothered.

Food was ok and service was ok. In this price range, I would have expected larger portions. Flavor was nice but it wasn't something that I will be craving. I got the ribeye steak sandwich with fries. We had the crab hushpuppies to start.

This place has great food and excellent custom service to match! Devon was our waiter and he made sure we had everything we needed. Christian was also very helpful. EXTREMELY satisfied across the board.

Great restaurant! Drinks are affordable and plenty of options. Always recommend a shot + beer to get things going.

Food wise, lot of options but the fish and chips are by far my favorite.

We came here at my wife’s request for Mother’s Day, she had been there previously and she was impressed with everything. I have to say she wasn’t wrong, the ambiance was great, the food was delicious and the service was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Our server Devon Watts is one of the best I’ve seen, he remembered my wife and daughter from the previous time they were there (which was about 2 months ago), his recommendations were on point, he truly made a great experience even greater and that’s while having a trainee (another Devon, whom was great too) with him. I will definitely comeback because everything I heard about this place has been true and then some.

I really like this place, specially the happy hour prices are very good considering the location. Well good prices in general. Starts at 3:00 pm. I would love to see the ranch water drinks in the happy hour menu again.

Best happy hour! They have a happy "hourly" menu EVERY DAY from 3-6 including weekends which has drinks/bites for $3 at 3pm, $4 at 4 and $5 at 5. The drink list is large and includes wines, draft beers, ranch waters, margaritas, martinis, and old fashions. Their "featured" happy hour cocktail changes frequently which makes it fun! They also have hh bites as well - their crab hush puppies are so delicious with the heavenly maple butter and the slider duo is yummy as well. I enjoyed the grilled cheese bites too! I thought the daily tots were good but not as good as the other bites.

Parking in the garages on upper floors is free so I'd recommend that, as street parking in city center is pay-to-park. Service is always great!

I came the the general republic for a 1st date. I walked in about 12 pm noon and got seated pretty quickly. When we sat down at our booth Isaac immediately greeted us with a smile and an amazing presence.

It was this Tuesday and he was doing circles around the restaurant it wasn’t busy but definitely study and he made sure every SINGLE ONE OF HIS TABLES had waters an appetizer and or a drink on the menu, he also was suggesting a lot of amazing items. I’ve never been somewhere to where the server was on beat and handling as many tables has he was !

Isaac truly made this experience one to remember! I give this place 5 stars and Isaac 20 :) THANKS ISAAC I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.
