The General Public

The great customer service by a new employee really made our night. Called out the manager to really compliment him for staying close yet keeping space and letting us enjoy their happy hour. I ordered the Zephyr Martini and I should’ve asked what was in it because I didn’t like it but our server was super helpful finding a replacement.

Really love the atmosphere, but the menu options are a little limited unless your really love bacon burgers.

The ambience was nice when we walked in, but we didn’t feel well taken care of in general even though the place wasn’t busy. The food was okay.

Been at least 8 times. This is the last. Last time bartender argued with me over the number of drinks my party had.....she couldn't even remember our orders when serving lol $600 tab btw....This time again! Horrible service. Bad attitude from 3 servers. Slow. Drinks are not good at all. Went next door to Bowl and Barrel , which is owned by the SAME company...... totally different. Great service. Great attitude, awesome drinks. Funny how it's always the same story. Won't be back to General Public anymore.

I really wanted to like this place because it does have a nice easy feel and great staff but the food is sub-par. maybe it is just a drinks and small bar food place, I'm not sure. i saw what they were making for the bowling next door (hot dogs and meatballs) and i wanted that more than my dish. the other patrons with me agreed that their plates were just not great tasting at all.

Food and service were great ! Recommended for brunch !! Ask for Isaac we had the best time.. give him that tumbler 🤣

Caleb and his brother always take great care of the old teachers when we come thru for happy hour. They keep the drinks cold and the food hot for us and we really appreciate it!! Please visit them and tip them well they deserve it. Love the happy hour set up and the food is delicious.

Food was good and value for portion was great. I recommend the chicken and frites. The service was slightly lacking. It took a while to get anything from salt to drinks. The person helping us was pulling double duty as server and bartender so it is understandable. Would stop by again.

Came here for happy hour. I enjoyed the drinks. Service was pretty slow so you had to know what you wanted before he came around. We asked for recommendations but he wasn’t fully listening to us when it came to food. When the food did get to us it was cold but he took off before we could say anything. Overall I think the drinks were worth the price on happy hour but I’m not sure if I would order food here again (Chefs tots were cold and bland. The cheese bites were good)

The 2 stars are for the food which wasn't bad but the drinks were terrible absolutely the worst lol and even when we told our server they weren't good, they removed them from the table still charged us for some of them. We were overcharged and when it was brought to their attention they seemed bothered we mentioned it. Why would anyone pay for drinks they didn't drink? It just was not a good experience I definitely wouldn't recommend or return.
