Best Mexican food ever!!!!!!! This spot has been around for over 20 years. My family and I have been going to this place for that long it is so good. Great food at a good price. Since they added the patio there is the option of hanging out outside and enjoying the weather. The family that owns and runs this place are great people. Service and timeliness have never been a problem. Go grab a margarita and something off the menu.

Chips were good, salsa was bland. I typically prefer green salsa, but neither the red nor green had any spice or flavor. Split the Fajita Plate for 2 and that was really good. Fresh tortillas and both the chicken and beef were well seasoned and cooked well. Overall a good experience even if I was disappointed with the salsa.

The margaritas were great appetizers were wonderful as well as our entrees I was able to order the food exactly how I liked it and they prepared it that way and brought it to me that way. I've been going to Del Pueblo for over 30 years. We used to go to a different Mexican food place with some friends. They switched to Del Pueblo and we would occasionally. Then I tasted their beef fajitas and we switched. They're an extra cut of beef!!! Then I tried other things. Every thing is great. The staff is so friendly, the food is excellent. The customers are wonderful. It's like home. We love this place.

Not good at all! I had beef enchiladas and gf had beef fajita quesadilla. I have a cast iron stomach too but it was no match for this garbage! My stomach is tore up and I have made several trips to the baƱo. #wontbebackever!

A local fav. Their food is consistently decent. However, their food is more geared to be Texmex than it is authentic Mexican food. The margaritas are what I usually come for. Margaritas are very strong, there are many options and flavors also. I was never told there were different size margaritas, get the large its worth.

Visiting Houston for the second time and love eating beef in the state because I find it to be the freshest. NOT at this place. Went here and ordered a queso with beef and it didn't taste fresh. Ordered a stew beef plate and had to spit it out. They use old beef and flavor it so you don't get the taste as much. I can taste bad old beef anywhere. Noticed their ceilings are full of dust that has been clinging there for ages. THIS PLACE IS NOT A CLEAN ESTABLISHMENT. I DO NOT recommend this place if you eat beef. It's not right to sell old meat to customers, Bad Business.

Good food and good service and we love their Margarita. We have been going there for many many years. Their food is always consistent and we have no complaint about their service. We love their happy hour and Wednesday margarita special. They used to be crowded all the time. I guess due to the economy their business is slow now which suits us better. Now we can dine in a quiet environment and in and out in no time.

This is a mixed review. Del Pueblo has great Tex Mex food. Both their green sauce and their fajitas (any style) taste like another local spot however, Del Pueblo wins with being reasonably priced. The crunchy taco meat is great and even better - the picoqueso appetizer.
The not so great part - I've been 3 times and 2 of the 3 I had very bad service. This last time sealed the deal.
Once my initial order was placed, my server seemed to disappear. The guy who served my chips and hot sauce is the one who took my drink order. Yet another person brought my food. I would see the server appear but he never looked over, much less came to the table.
I waited for a drink refill - didn't get it. The seating lady at the front door caught my eye a couple times and finally came to help locate my server for my ticket just so I could finally leave - you guessed it... My loyal chip guy brought it to me.
I would've asked for a manager, but seeing as how it took almost 15 minutes just to get and pay my bill, I didn't care to wait ANY longer.
**I'm guessing that the money being saved on the fajitas is not going towards paying the wait staff...
