Very lovely and comfortable place to visit. My daughter and I enjoyed a hot Jade Green Tea and my daughter also tried their Bayou Blend coffee with real cream. We also got a lemon poppyseed muffin and a double chocolate muffin, which they warmed for us. It was so wonderful. We will definitely be back. If you enjoy small boutique coffee/tea places or just want to try something different, you won't be disappointed here. Love it.

Wish I could’ve gotten the dudes name who took our order but he was very kind to my girlfriend & I, which is something I always appreciate when I try new places out.
We’re not from Houston, we were just passing through but decided to try this new coffee place out, it is a very cute, intimate space. All the pastries are home made, and above all, the drink I ordered (Purple Rain frappe) was DELICIOUS. I’m so glad we swung by.

I had the turkey melt with pesto mayo today and it was fantastic! The pretzel bun was soft and held together the whole time. They've added some extra tables, so that is really appreciated. Delicious latte and raspberry tart too.

I've been coming here since I was an amoeba! Great coffee, great atmosphere but no hot dogs unfortunately.... Linda, Aaron are awesome and take the time to make your drink and food exactly how you want
This place is a gem! True neighborhood coffee shop
I love this place

This is the cutest, Quaint little coffee shop. Excellent service, delicious sandwiches and quiches, and Beyond delicious blueberry pie 🫐.
The owner is so sweet, and makes delicious drinks too!
My friend and me have frequented here quite a few time for coffee dates and chats. Each time we leave with full bellies of yummy coffee drinks, and sandwiches.
The chai frappe is delicious and taste like ice cream! The blueberry pie is beautiful and taste so good! The sandwiches are fresh, Yummy and filling. I have gotten the breakfast southwest quiche a few times and it's just perfect. The flavors are phenomenal. Go support local !

What wonderful little place! Super charming little coffee shop and café. I happened upon it today by accident and will definitely be going back. I had the rosemary ham and Havarti cheese sandwich with the triple berry pie, and they were both superb! I’m guessing the young man who took my order and prepared my food, as well as the lady who chatted with me in the dining room, were the proprietors. It was a serendipitous find, and I look forward to my next visit!

I have been wanting to try this place for a year since I drive by it all the time. I had such high hopes but sadly was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the coffee and food we purchased was good, but the atmosphere was not at all welcoming for families with kids.
Our visit started out okay, but we quickly felt very uncomfortable and like we were putting them out just by being there. It felt a bit like an antique shop inside, but that was clearly what they were going for. There are family heirlooms on a cart by the door that my kids were looking at. The older woman told my boys, "Don't touch that!"
The younger woman (who said she was the grand daughter of the other woman) was very sweet but seemed a bit on edge as she kept being corrected by the older woman. At one point while my mother and I and my two boys were sitting having our drinks/food, we heard the older women tell her to tell the kids to get their feet of the furniture. (My 9 year old sits on his one foot).
It felt like being at a grumpy grandmother's house where you aren't able to touch anything. My kids are not poorly behaved, but they are 4 and 9 year old boys. I felt very unwelcome and will not be returning.

I really was looking forward to visiting this coffee shop after reading the reviews. I drive by the location daily. It was a cold day in the mid morning and I wanted to try a new coffee shop I hadn't been to. The interior is quaint and there was lots of seating. I didn't see a bathroom or signage for bathrooms, however. The older woman at the counter didn't greet us and we waited at the counter until she asked for our order. The two other people that came with me placed their order and she asked if this was our first time here and when we said yes she didn't welcome us but instead pointed to the menu for our selection and then pointed to the carafes for the coffee of the day. I inquired about tea and she pointed to a small basket with about 10 tea bags in it. I made my selection and she prepared our order. The woman asked what kind of milk was for the cappuccino and my friend asked for 2%. The woman pointed impatiently to the board again where it stated whole, soy or oat milk. We selected a nearby table while we waited for our order, I noticed that the order was being placed in disposable cups - we were not asked if our prder was to go. So I inquired if I could have my tea in a mug or tea cup - not an unusual request for a private owned coffee shop in my experience. The woman looked at me as if I asked something out of the ordinary. She stated that they did have mugs, pointing to a mug tree with Christmas mugs and then to a few cute mugs hanging on a wall. She then stated that people want their coffee in paper because of COVID but if I wanted a ceramic cup I could choose one. Mind you, this statement definitely was made to talk me out of anything but a disposable cup. I was in a good mood that day so I told her that I did want a mug adding that I like to enjoy the full coffee house experience with a tea cup/mug. She literally huffed and rolled her eyes - I was surprised and realized she was either 1) having a bad day or 2) we threw off her service rhythm. She took the coffee cup from the wall that I selected and then stated again that I could choose a mug from the mug tree on the counter. I felt that I was putting her out, and didn't want to make things complicated, so I took a mug from the mug tree. In the meantime, she looked into the mug I initially chose and said it was dirty and then she blew into it like she was trying to blow dust out. I handed her the mug I chose. She had already poured the hot water into a disposable cup with my tea bag in it and she reluctantly asked if I wanted a new cup of tea or she could just pour the contents into the mug. I just wanted the awkward exchange to stop and just drink my tea. I told her not to worry and I took both cups and I poured the tea into the mug after I sat down. I asked for a cup of water and she said that they only had bottled water since the water was contaminated. She added it had made the news. She then quickly walked back her statement by saying "but the coffee machine filters the water for the coffee." I also ordered two muffins as I saw that they had a 2 for $6 special. She looked so put out as she got the two muffins I wanted. She fumbled around under the counter and I saw she produced two small ceramic plates for the muffins. I really felt she was doing something she normally doesn't do. She microwaved the muffins and I took them to our seating area. There was another man working behind the counter cleaning and tidying up. We're these the owners? I overheard her complaining to this man about something I wish I hadn't heard, since this visit was already unpleasant. As a last ditch effort for pleasant small talk, I thanked her and said I enjoyed the coffee shop. She didn't look up to us as she said 'have a good day'. In short, we felt unwelcome. We were the only patrons there, but we felt as if we were bothering the woman, and overall, we were not impressed. Cute interior with mismatched furnishings and decorations. Not kid friendly due to breakable decorations. Not coming back. Do not recommend.

A charming little coffee shop that has been a steady fixture in the neighborhood through thick and thin. The Danishes are tasty! The coffee is Katz's. I've not had a meal there recently, but last time I did, it was surprisingly good. There are only a few tables and a small sitting area, but if you want something more intimate than one of the big chains, Crescent Moon is comfy and loaded with personality. They don't need to write your name on the cup - just come in and introduce yourself!
