Del Pueblo

Still some good Mexican food after 15+ years. 😂 I went back recently as I was in the area with the boys.

Delicious food. Top notch queso, fantastic enchiladas, divine sopapillas. I grew up eating here and have since moved to Missouri, but every time we visit Houston we hightail it to Del Pueblo!!!

Very clean. Wait staff was attentive. The Miami Vice drink was refreshing. I have not been here in while but it was a good experience.

The restaurant was packed with office Christmas partygoers. The service was good considering that every table was full. The portions were generous so be prepared to take home delicious food for later.

We have been enjoying this place for over 20 years. The staff is wonderful and the food is great. We love Del Pueblo!

I’ve been a customer of this restaurant since 1996 because they had great food and a great atmosphere. In the past 5 years the food and atmosphere have declined significantly. The crowd is a fraction of what it used to be. My wife and I still ate here even though everyone I know wouldn’t, due to lack of quality in the food and service. They are convenient and close for us. Tonight I was served shrimp that tasted like 2 day old forgotten bait shrimp from the live well. A restaurant can cover up spoiled meat with a lot of spice, but not spoiled seafood. When I complained the manager looked at me as if I were the problem. Mexican food restaurants are a dime a dozen in Houston and this one would be number thirteen. Good luck if you decide to dine here.

We love this restaurant. I love the ambience the waiters are wonderful. Everything is always perfect. We'd eat here at least once a week.

Have not visited in a while given there are so many good choices for Mexican food in the area. Glad we did remember and returned to DP. Group of four and all were happy with their meals. A solid choice for good food in a good atmosphere with a good staff.

I don’t live in Houston, but we visit often, and every time Del Pueblo is a nonnegotiable 😂 They’re always quick, consistent, and great. Everything tastes great, but the tortillas are out of this world! Truly some of my favorite I’ve ever had anywhere. I crave them back home and have nothing remotely close! Haha! They are really so so good! We always come in with a big group and we’ve never waited more than 10 minutes or so to be seated, food comes quickly, and the service is great!

Place was great enjoyed our lunch. The food was delicious. It seems they might have a new cook because it tasted with love and compassion and just a flavor of home my mom's cooking. That was a good feeling for me.
