Yes to the yes to the yes! I've been coming here for at least 5 years. I was so excited when I heard there was a coffee shop in Montrose that offered some authentic Mexican and Central American flavors. I am a chronic studier and I hate locking myself up at home so I visit a lot of coffee shops. Campesino is definitely in my top 3 favorites.
Pros:
-Cafe de Olla: omg, the best thing on the menu. If you are Mexican or have ever been to Mexico, you need to experience how good and authentic this drink is. Reminds me of my Tía Chica's homemade coffee from the bean.
-Horchata Latte: again, amazing. A little sweet sometimes but really amazing flavors. It's closer to the Mexican Horchata for anyone wondering.
-Ambiance: great. Lots of happy looking people. Staff are super friendly. Outside is also great on a less hot day.
Cons:
-There is lots of seating but it can get busy at times. Not all of the seating is the most comfortable but not a problem during work hours, on weekdays, or on cooler days as people sit outside too.
-The savory dishes are not that great tbh. Have tried the meat tamales twice (pork I think) and they honestly were disappointing both times. The sweet bread (pan dulce) is definitely worth it though!

It looks cute.
Unfortunately, unable to recommend "coffee" as I had to ask and suggest, and search for alternatives, to make it palatable.

So glad we came across this place via our Google search. Just what my Bestie and I were looking for, after our morning power walk; a cute, quaint, quirky, comfy coffee/tea shop. Great ambience and superb customer service! Highly recommend!

Beautiful gem of a Cafe with very well made coffees. Nice courtyard for outside sitting and staff is super friendly. Will return to try the tamales!

This place is very cozy (it's a house turned coffee shop) with lots of little seating areas. The coffee is also very good and the people that work there are super nice. The background music can be a little distracting, sometimes it gets pretty crowded, and I wish connecting to the WiFi was automatic and there wasn't a password. Those things aside it's a really nice place and parking is easy.

This is a great place to have some coffee and to study. The staff are super friendly. It's a quiet environment with fast internet and lots of electrical outlets. The horchata latte is amazing!

The café de olla is really delicious! Great setup indoors but also quite a bit of seating outdoors.
