Vibe- This is one of the most cozy coffee shops I’ve been to! Maybe it’s because it literally is a house that was turned into a coffee shop :) there’s a big space in the front and then there’s 3 other rooms with plenty of seating options. There’s 3 bar style areas to sit at, some couches, and a great amount of tables with chairs. There’s some seating outside too!

Customer service- Amazing! The barista that served me was sweet and helpful.

Food/drinks- I got a cortado with oat milk and vanilla. To eat I got the black bean tamales that came with plantain chips and everything was so good!

Parking- There’s about 9 spots in the lot of the shop and then street parking as well.

Great cozy place. Wonderful spot to study (except for the back ground music, which is sometimes off) and the dim light is very soothing. The staff is just super sweet and amazing. There is a decent number and types of seats to choose from as well; indoors and outdoors. However, the parking can be a hassle as is the case with many other cafes/restaurants in the area. And also the food is really unimpressive. Maybe only on Sundays or that one particular Sunday I was there, starving! The pastries were not fresh (made the previous day according to the cashier) and there was only one choice of food: tamales which was honestly not the best tamales in town. AND it was definitely over-priced. I think I’ll go back there but definitely not order food…

Nice, cozy, welcoming spot with good coffee and some unique eats. The tamales were good.

The cafe de olla was delicious, but my wife was hoping for a latte.

The best pork tamales I’ve had in Houston (so far)! Delicious and unique coffee drinks - try the horchata iced latte. Great patio and dog friendly.

Pros: the drinks are really well made, there are unique options not found in most other coffee/tea places. Very quaint atmosphere, and tables and chairs are spread out so you don't feel crammed.

Cons: very limited parking, somewhat loud music, and food taste good, but is pricey for what you get.

Loved the vibe here. Barista was cool.

The cafe de Olla, chefs kiss. It has an amazing flavor. It comes with a free refill which I definitely took advantage of while there.

Get the piggy cookie if you haven’t tried it. Soft baked with a great ginger taste.

Great place for coffe. It seems to be a house that has been turned into a coffe house. Pretty cool. And plenty of seating. Parking can be limited but you can usually find parking on the street. They also have an outside seating area.

Their Maya Mocha is my favorite. I enjoy studying here. I love there's always Lord of the Rings or Godzilla playing in the background.
The parking lot is limited but you can find street parking.
I've experienced slow internet speeds when it starts to get full.

I recently visited Campesino Coffee House, and overall, it was a decent coffee shop experience. The atmosphere inside was cozy and inviting, and the coffee itself was enjoyable. However, there was one area where I felt the coffee shop fell short—the cleanliness of the outdoor seating area.

The interior of Campesino Coffee House was well-maintained, with comfortable seating and a pleasant ambiance. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, adding to the overall experience. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee selection offered a variety of options to suit different tastes.

Despite the positive aspects, I noticed that the outdoor seating area could use some attention. The tables and chairs appeared to be clean, but there was visible litter on the ground, such as discarded napkins and empty cups. Additionally, some areas seemed neglected, with debris scattered around and not promptly cleaned up.

To enhance the overall customer experience, I would encourage the staff at Campesino Coffee House to place a stronger emphasis on maintaining the cleanliness of the outdoor seating area. Regularly sweeping and clearing away any litter would go a long way in ensuring a pleasant environment for patrons who prefer to enjoy their coffee outdoors.

I understand that it can be challenging to keep outdoor spaces immaculate, especially during busy periods, but a more diligent cleaning routine would greatly improve the overall impression of the coffee shop. By addressing this aspect, Campesino Coffee House has the potential to elevate its already enjoyable experience and provide a well-rounded visit for all customers.

In conclusion, Campesino Coffee House is a decent coffee shop with a cozy interior and enjoyable coffee. However, to further enhance the customer experience, I recommend that the staff pay closer attention to cleaning and maintaining the outdoor seating area. By doing so, they can ensure a consistently pleasant atmosphere for all visitors.

This is such a delightful and friendly coffee shop. The staff are top notch, seating is comfy and plentiful, and the vibe is just right. I always get the Maya Mocha Latte which is a spicy hot chocolate type drink — never had anything like it before and I’m so glad I found it. Kudos to the management here for fostering such a wonderful coffee shop culture.
