I love the interior and all the seating options but there is very obvious skimping. I ordered an iced tea and got a glass that was a little over 3/4 full, the chocolate muffin has no chocolate chips inside just about 7 on top and the $9 tamale had two pieces of chicken and a potato chunk. For the price of everything it seems a bit underwhelming.

I love to nibble on the plantain chips while working on my laptop outside (there are outlets ❤️)

No pour over coffee… horchata coffee is pretty sweet… but environment is pretty good… lots of people working.

Relatively quiet with soft music playing. It's on a corner that you would mistake as a house. A nice touch inside with the chimney in the corner. A steady in and out sound from the traffic provides just the right static noise for getting work done. Oh, great coffee too.

I really like this place as a reading spot/quick laptop tasks. The horchata is my usual drink. It's got a relaxed vibe and there's plenty of different kinds of seating.

The environment is so sweet and cozy. ALL of the staff are welcoming.
Let's just say I travel from the Energy Corridor to Waugh Dr. to experience all that the Campesino Coffee House has to offer.
The house itself has so much character. The vibrant and warm colors. Such a Gem.
On Sunday when Houstons humidity has fully settled upon the city and the place has a large crowd. I am still able to fall asleep with my book in hand and coffee on the table in the midst of it all.
I mean, I still keep a tight grip on my purse because you just never know. 😂
Did I mention that the expresso ALWAYS have my taste buds dancing? It's the love affair for me.

Love this little coffee house! Vibes are immaculate and it's really easy for me to get creative in this kind of atmosphere. The cafe con leche was a standout for me; while I'm not a huge coffee enthusiast I really enjoyed the flavor profile and can see it becoming a future fave when I'm not in the mood for a flat white. Tangibles: volume was low, WiFi was fast, and seating was available when I was here on a Friday morning.
I'll definitely be back here, hope to see y'all too <3

What a sweet place to sit and have a conversation or get some studying or work done. Loved the authenticity of the indoor area and the outdoor patio was charming with the graffiti walls and seating areas. I got cafe-de- Olla and absolutely hated the taste. Cheese empanada was below mediocre too. When I checked menu online I wanted to get the Leche one and was looking forward to the Mexican clay pot. Upon getting there, no sign of this one or the Mexican clay pot. I was disappointed!

love! From always having a plave to sit with enough outlets to the best cafe con leche in montrose houston.
