This is a great spot for a coffee date, small group meeting, or a solo study/work trip. The menu has interesting and tasty items. Highly recommend the Maya mocha latte. The service is friendly. The Wi-Fi works well.

The atmosphere is very chill It’s a great place to study. The staff is very nice and the service is fast. My only complaint will be the price for the value of the tamales and coffee . I will not recommend the food at all because of how expensive it is for what you order. We ordered four chicken tamales and it was 90% masa and little to no chicken. The salsa that they give is actually Valentina which is odd in my point of view. We tried both cafe de olla and the horchata iced latte. The horchata iced latte was delicious however, the cafe de olla was average. You can get a better taste if you purchase a Nescafé cafe de olla to make at home. 3 stars for quality of the food and its price value. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

I've been a regular customer of Campesino going back at least a year. Today I asked for a cup of drip coffee - that's 12 ounces - with cream. I've always been charged $3.79.

The (new) order taker said cream is 25 cents extra.

I was dumbfounded. $4.06 for a 12-ounce cup of coffee?? The coffee is good, but not THAT good.

There are many other places that beat that. Mercantile on Hawthorne, fairly close by, charges $2.75 for the same 12-ounce cup, cream included.

Brasil? Try more like $3, again, cream included.

Even Starbucks, the great, hated corporate coffee presence in the States doesn't charge extra for cream. There's one of those on Hawthorne, and another on West Gray.

If this new order taker wasn't properly trained, best to get that person trained as soon as possible.

If this is a price increase, you guys won't see me as much.

Campesino has changed since I started going. You guys had better baristas before but they all left. And now you're nickel-and-diming long-time customers?

C'mon, man.

My absolute favorite spot to grab a coffee and work out of. The ambience is great, the space has fast WiFi and adequate charging points and is very quiet. The coffee and pastries are amazing and the staff were so friendly. Highly recommend!

Awesome and comfortable little coffee shop. I’ve been looking for a place like this for a long time. When you think of a place to study think about this spot.

I haven’t had a favorite coffee shop in years. Now I do. Fantastic coffee and service, and wonderful light bite and pastry options.

Super cute vibe. Chill crowd. The drinks we got were not very good but I'd give them another try.
