Exactly what you expect from the advertising. A gem of Glen Rose, good food and great sundaes. Atmosphere is above average compared to other retro places, and the slow pace of service also helps set the old timey tone.

What can you say about this place?! We literally drive from Arlington to Shoofly just for shakes, theyre all amazing! Best shakes ever! Owners are awesome as well! So nice! We try to go every couple of months! We love shoofly!!!!!!!

Incredibly friendly service and warm attitudes with old school ice cream sodas, floats and sundaes made with soda syrup from Dublin TX Sodas rather than just typical cans or fountains. They put a lot of love into everything they make, also a gift shipping so it's a great stop for tourists. The definition of Southern Hospitality.

Loved it!!!!! Havent been to an old fashioned ice cream and soda shop in a long time! Took my kids here while we were vacationing in Glen Rose. It was my kids first time in a place like this. They loved it!!

The food was excellent. They had a shake of the day. This day was key lime pie shake it was absolutely delicious!!! If you come to Glen Rose I would eat here.

Fun shop with a ice cream shake/malt bar, candy available, and lots of retro goodies available to purchase. It sounds cheesy, but there’s something here for everyone!
