Shoo-Fly Soda Shop

Great old fashioned soda shop. They've got sodas, shakes, malts, old timey candy, etc. We ordered an ice cream soda, orange soda with vanilla cherry ice cream, and is was absolutely delicious. We definitely plan to stop in again next time we are in Glen Rose.

Cute little shop. Located on the downtown Square traffics not too busy. It's a soda whoop much like toys see in a 50's film. Soda jockeys are fun and staff in general is very nice. Small town so everyone knows everyone and though most shops care the same kind of things looks like prices everywhere are the same so shopping around won't really get you a better deal.

We visited this store 3 weeks ago. We had a good time. Teenage kids were there and sitting at the soda fountain and it brought back memories in my day of sitting and having banana splits and sharing with a friend. I will go back when I visit again.

The owners are the sweetest!!! Their food is yummy and the shakes are amazing! Shopping is great with all the cute clothes, toys, candies, and decor! We come here frequently and can't get enough!

Cute place in what is trying to be a cute town. Icecream was good , prices reasonable , very crowded at times but still better than dairy Queen the only other choice.

Owned by a lovely couple. Snack and lunch orders are fulfilled with a smile.
Place is clean, friendly, nostalgic, with fun decor. Kids will love the candy (of course), ice cream, sodas, and the Melissa & Doug toys. We will be coming back for sure!

Loved the place. The shop's look and feel was amazing. The home made cones were so yummy and we got lucky to see how they are made. Coke floats were a blast from the past. Staff was super friendly. So worth the trip!!!

Great place to go for ice cream and food. People were very nice and old times feeling. Playing 50's and 60's rock n roll music is so cool!

Dropped by when finding it by accident....very glad we did. Owner is very nice and she offers an array of fun unique items in her shop. They have a WONDERFUL brownie a la mode....with the brownies made daily. Perfect little stop to cool off surrounded by quaint shops on the square. A definate must stop if you enjoy the sweet things in life ;)
