Shoo-Fly Soda Shop

This place is an absolute must to go to, this place is one of the coolest places in Glenrose (my opinion) their ice cream is absolutely amazing, and it was very enjoyable to sit there and watch them make it and eat it..

Delightful 50's style soda and ice cream place with great selection of classic candy and gum as well as a lot of other gifts and mementos. Sandwiches are also available. The candy and gum they have really took me back. Great prices and super friendly staff. Don't miss it if you visit Glen Rose. Located on the old Town square which is also worth seeing.

Their Chicken Nuggets and egg salad were the best, hand made sodas and Grilled Sandwich all were good, along with the awesome ice creams and great service. Would love to have more shops like this in all downtowns. If you are visiting Glen Rose or Fossil Rim, just make a small detour to enjoy this experience.

I first came to this shop after a awful experience at another place down the street. Thanks goodness we did because it was a blessing. The service was great, very patient and willing to explain anything.

We can talk all day about the drinks, ice cream, floats, the specials. Honestly it's all pretty great. I love that they use/support Dublin drinks!

The menu is simple and good , from the fried bologna sandwich to the grilled cheese and don't forget the delicious reuben sandwich (my wife and mother-in-law).

We have officially made this our middle spot to meet family half way.

Super friendly service and old fashioned hand-poured sodas. They sell old-fashioned sweets, toys, and other trinkets and decorations, as well.

Our first visit to Glen Rose won't be our last! We will make the trip just to try the yummy treats from the Shoo-Fly Soda Shop! What a fun, nostalgic shop! And the root beer soda, which was recommended, did not disappoint!!

Adorable shop with items for all ages plus Ice Cream and Chocolates. I will be coming back for the Salted Caramel Ice Cream! It was so delicious. Husband's Strawberry shake was good too. Loved the friendly service.

What a great and fun place!! Banana split was amazing! They have a little bit of everything, we spent almost an hour looking around at all the cool/retro stuff. Don't leave without getting ice cream, but plan to spend some time in there looking around as well.
