Yaga's Cafe

Great menu options, fast service. Lots of drinks on the menu. Great location on The Strand. Had the shrimp burger over polenta.

My wife and two of my sons and I visited Galveston for the first time ever and decided that we may fly back just to go to Yaga's. Georgina was our server and was just incredible. We were so impressed that we changed plans so we could eat lunch there two days in a row. One of my sons seriously consumed two full pounds of shrimp in two days because he loved the Po Boy so much. My wife is allergic to gluten and they were impeccable with their accommodation. Clean, perfect location, and so delicious. We will be back!

Didn't know it was Bikers Rally weekend in Galveston. It was crowded, but everything seemed to be going smoothly. Did not have to wait for a table and our waitress was extremely nice and the service was excellent. The food was freshly cooked and tasty. You go Yaga's! I'll be back!

The nastiest drinks. The worst food. Absolutely terrible service. Rude unattentive bartenders. There are sooooo many better places on the strand to spend your hard earned dollars. Don’t waste your time or money here. Literally so disgusting.

I was excited to come here to because we love trying new places. My husband and I were greeted when we walked in. We were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We decided to sit outside because it was a beautiful day.

They had two couples who came in after us and was immediately waited on. We were walked over several times and after fifteen minutes of waiting we decided to leave. I spoke with the manager on duty and he apologized.

Friendly staff. Nice location around a bunch of other shops and bars. Salmon sandwich is the BEST.

The food was good, service was professional and courteous, and outdoor seating lovely. I ordered the club sandwich with fries, and it was all very good. My children ordered fried shrimp with sweet potato tots, and mac ‘n’ cheese. The mac’n’ cheese was okay, fried shrimp was good, and the sweet potato tots were great. We would definitely dine there again. The afternoon was warm and we really enjoyed dining on the patio and enjoying the outdoors. Would give them 5 stars if the mac ‘n’ cheese had been better.

Nice place, good prices, Da Pounder sandwich was really good. Did not care much for the shrimp burger.

The cocktails here were amazing! Classic Orange Fanta was on-point also. As far as the food, we only tried the bread pudding. It was scrumptious..the homemade whipped cream was my daughter's favorite... Definitely going back!

I ordered a cheeseburger, a hamburger was served, I sent it back and it was brought back with a slice of cheese on the burger. After the look on my face, the manager said would you like that melted I can put it back on the girl. Well the person I was with burger had melted cheese. Then the burger comes back with no fries. I eat 75% of it before the fries come back!
