Yaga's Cafe

My wife and I are on The Strand and we seen Yaga's and were hungry for a late-ish lunch. About a 10 minute wait, they were pretty packed and we were seated. Chips and queso as well as us splitting our plates.

JUST THE QUESO ALONE was enough for 5 stars. And I still don't know which was better: The club or the sliders. And the fries were still crunchy after being cooled off for a bit, was on point. The sliders were very flavorful and the club just felt like a hug for your tastebuds.

Hey, chef! The amount of flavor alone is enough for us to drive an hour to come back!!

Warm atmosphere, friendly people and the food was beyond ON POINT!!

It was so delicious. We were in town visiting and we decided to try something new so we tried Yagas Cafe. Great choice. We also had our dogs with us and the waitress was very kind as well as brining our dogs a bowl of water. She helped us with everything we needed and the food was AMAZING. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town. The food was so amazing

It was a bit of a chilly night but we went here because Stuutgarten was super-busy! My lady had funky fajitas with chips and salsa (tasty) and I had the crispy chicken club. When our order came she was given a black bean and chicken burrito. It was an honest mistake and the manager came out and rectified the issue. They brought her the correct entree, comped her meal and we also kept the burrito. Service was really good. Sierra was apologetic and kept reiterating it. We told her it was okay and to please not worry about it. We still paid, with tip, what we would have paid with full price charge. We will go back. As a bonus, a horse and carriage went by while we were there.

Love love love this place. Their Monday pizza special (any 12 inch pizza for $6) is the bomb! So good! And the total for two came out less than $13, less than if we had gone to Mcdonald's. Their service and decor are also incredible. I love the wall drawings, so artistic and quirky. I adore the energy and enthusiasm of their waiters and waitresses. They hire mostly young college students, so they are still fresh and not jaded like most waiters we've seen. We would totally come back. I just need to remember the name. Who is Yaga? Yaga, if you see this, come say hi to us!

Stopped in for a late lunch. First time here and what a great place! We had gumbo which was really good IMHO and an order of seafood flautas. Yeah, had to try those. A mix of shrimp, crab-in a flauta. I would have preferred snaller diameter but it was very tasty. We’ll visit again.

Went with 2 friends after walking around. Good food good portions.
I had the po boy and my friends each had the shrimp burger. Both where delicious and the po boy had alot of shrimp.

Love this place. Always have great service and ambience. It can get busy at times because of the location but on a nice day, there’s nothing like sitting outside in there courtyard and enjoying a delicious frozen margarita and people watching. Brunch, lunch or dinner the food is always very tasty. We love the jalapeño bites and seafood flautas appetizers and the shrimp burger is my favorite item on their menu. Always a great experience coming to Yagas.

Love the friendly staff & dining al fresco here. Service is always great. Pizzas are our favorite & love that they have a cauliflower crust option for me. Queso could be better, not my favorite. Other things there are just okay. Kids mac & cheese is delicious, our daughter loves it! Decent happy hour specials & discount on pizzas on Mondays. My parents enjoyed brunch there & loved their keto salmon pizza.

4/4/23 update & rating decrease to 3: We have now tried several other items here. Unfortunately, none of them are great. I tried the fish tacos recently. Worst fish tacos I've tried on the island. Serving was tiny, and fish was very overcooked and dry. The sauce was tasty. Beans were delicious. They changed the kids' mac & and cheese, and it an improvement. We really wish they would clean here. The place is so filthy. They do live music & club environment on the weekends, and it always smells like that on the inside. I took a picture of the bathroom stall. If it is this dirty, what does the kitchen look like? Overall, it is a convenient place to enjoy a patio, so we will probably return for pizza. Definitely recommend they do a deep clean.

We had a pretty good time! We met friends earlier and kicked it again with them in here. The only complaint I have is the restroom. There should be a restroom attendant.

Great food, staff is very friendly and the restaurant was clean and organized. Pets are allowed on the outside patio. Definitely recommend.
