Yaga's Cafe

Yaga's was a great stop for us walking around through the shops. The food was good! Pictured is the chicken fajitas and coconut shrimp with veggies and rice. The 12" pizza was also more than enough for one person! Inside dining with AC as well as outside seating. Also has restrooms they allow you to use if your just walking around!

Love this place. We had outstanding service with great recommendations based on what we said we were hungry for. Our server was one of the best ever and she was training another coworker to be as good as her. The food was sooo good. Very tasty! The suggested drinks turned out to be super. Thank you for the great experience.

nice portions for hot & fresh food, drinks were mega yum also. we had the blue coco mango rum mixer that was so delicious i had like 4 before i knew it. great location near historic downtown & the cruise ship docks; although parallel parking was a pain. not a knock on the restaurant just something to know beforehand.

Came here with some friends the other day, and we had a great time! Food was tasty, reasonably priced, and service was quick. I had the breakfast burger with fries, and my friends had the Cuban panini with fries and the Baja fish tacos with Cajun potatoes. We also ordered drinks. I had a strawberry mojito, and my friends ordered a frozen piña colada and a margarita. The piña colada was so fun! I would definitely recommend the drinks here. The atmosphere is also great, as they have live music and a cute outdoor area. Will definitely come back!

Had heard good things about Yaga's so decided to stop for lunch this trip. The staff are friendly and we were seated right away. Table and seats were a little sticky, and we had a fly at the table most of our visit. Got our drinks and fried zucchini (highly recommend) in a timely manner. Husband got the shrimp po'boy and cajun potatoes (so tasty!) and really enjoyed it. The sandwich was overflowing with fried shrimp. Kid got the fried chicken sandwich and fries. They had to ask for the honey mustard which was supposed to come with it, but said the fries were some of the best they've ever had.
I got the coconut shrimp. Would NOT recommend. The shrimp were overcooked and tough. The sticky rice had some uncooked, i.e. hard, pieces in it. And I'm pretty sure the Asian vegetables were a frozen pre-mixed. Our bill was also brought to us without asking if we were done or wanted dessert, so we felt a little rushed. While overall it was okay, we probably won't be back. There are too many places to try on The Strand.

Super cute restaurant! Had options for the kiddos and my vegetarian teenager. Our drinks never got empty and everyone enjoyed their food.

Wondeful patio location overlooking main stop of downtown. Friendly and helpful stiff. Knowledge about food and cocktails items. I has the Greek salad and pizza. Both were delicious.

Went there for brunch on a Sunday. Food was delicious service was sub par to say the least. We sat with empty drinks most of the time and I had to find our waitress to ask for our check.

We found Yagas as we were waiting to take a dolphin tour. Every once in awhile you come across someone who makes an impression and today A young man named grant did that for us. Grant was our server and it’s only his second week of being a waiter. You were absolutely wonderful, attentive and kind. Great job Yaga’s and Grant on a great experience.

Loved this place for brunch! Came with a group of 8 and we sat on the patio.. it was a good time with great food! Pictured food is the boudin Benedict, Hec of a sandwich, blackened salmon Benny, hearty hash bowl, Yaga burger, mimosa carafe, and mo betta bacon waffles with chicken. We also tried the fried jalapeños, friend zucchini, crawfish risotto croquettes, and queso supremo for appetizers and the seafood frittata as well but didn’t get a picture before he dug in lol. Everything was amazing and so was all the staff!
