Seems to be a place loved by the locals. People talked freely with one another. Parking can be a bit difficult, I had to park a good bit away. I could see seating being limited at a busy time of day, but when I went, there was ample seating both upstairs and down. Coffee and food were good.

Came here on a whim because it looked cute and brought my camera. I got iced tea and it was delicious. The place is so cute and the employees were so sweet and made a point to make conversation with me. Super good vibes!

my coworker goes here all the time so i was really excited to try it. the staff was super duper sweet! the cafe is super cute inside, it is smaller on the first floor, but it’s perfect for grab and go. can’t wait to go back and try the food!

I love to support local small businesses, so I come here as often as possible. Best traditional macchiato I’ve had outside of Italy. Sandwiches and pastries are great, I really enjoy their lemon poppy seed muffin! This is a good place to bring a laptop if you need to get some work done. Their music selection is nice and isn’t too loud. Parking can be tricky but if you live around here give this place a chance.

I first came to this place about 15 years ago and when I visited recently, it still had it's family owned and operated charm. It's definitely a cozy little nook of a coffee shop and the upstairs lounge area is always a nice place to relax, open the laptop and get work done or just relax for a while. Friendly staff and great coffee can always be expected here!

Deep Ellum has it all. This quaint, artistic, friendly, good humored coffee shop has amazing beverages, snacks and an elegant portrayal of art and comfort. This shop is a great place with friendly people and very attentive staff. This is a cozy place to get work done up or downstairs. Moist lemon poppy seed muffins and potent ice coffee. It's very lofty. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Very friendly owners. This seems like a place a lot of people go on the regular. They owners seemed to familiar with several people.

First visit. Order my fiancé coffee, breakfast meal, & hot water in a coffee mug. My coffee mug was stained tremendously, so I refused to drink water from a dirty cup. I simply asked the cash register attendant for a new cup of warm water placed in a paper cup. I had no idea the cashier was actually the Liz Davis (owner). Liz went to pour the water from the dirty cup into the paper cup. I asked Liz for a 2nd time, can I have a fresh warm water in a paper cup. I’ve never seen an owner go back-and-forth with a paying customer. Liz asked me why should she not use the water from the original cup. Since other guest were present in the store, I preferred no commotion. So, I nicely ask for a fresh water again. Liz then goes into this loud outburst of stating that the cup is only stained everything has been sterilized. At the same time Liz mentioned this, as I stare at the cup with marks resembled a tar paved road. Afterwords, Liz finally makes the fresh warm paper cup of water and then slams it down on the counter. So unprofessional and very disrespectful. Then Liz walks towards the back of the store and start telling one of her workers,” I should of charged him for a water cup because he said the coffee cup was dirty.” After overhearing this conversation while they were fixing my breakfast meal, I decided to tell Liz (owner) I would like to donate the meal because I will not accept it. Then me & my fiancé politely exit Murray Street Coffee Shop. I highly do not recommend this coffee shop. My first experience was a rough start to my morning.
