Merit Coffee Co.

We ordered a drip coffee (single origin from Colombia) and a 16-ounce Americano with two double shots of espresso. Both drinks were delicious, and the ambience of the cafe is excellent. It was our favorite coffee shop that we’ve been to in a while!

This was a great coffee stop in the center of the Deep Ellum action. Whether you’re there for a coffee or a tea, or anything in between, the atmosphere and people there are great. There are many places inside for you to sit, or if the weather is nice, there’s an outdoor setup as well.

I’m super glad to have checked out this place before leaving Texas (was in Dallas for a short visit). The place reminded me of the beginning of the rise of specialty cafes. The menu was appealing. The lady who assisted me with my order was very nice. The coffee and the vibes were classic. Recommended!

It was good coffee but too bitter for a cappuccino... it should have been lighter.

The cashier also canceled out the checkout when I was gonna put my phone for th3 points. It is what it is

I really enjoyed this place. It has nice smooth coffee with great flavours. The vibe was chilled but the decor isn't the most soulful. Overall great experience.

Super cute environment- seating indoor and outdoor right in the middle of Deep Ellum. The staff were super helpful for me to find the perfect coffee that I was looking for! Super good! A little pricey- I believe my large coffee was about $6 but that’s to be expected at a signature coffee shop in Dallas!

Really solid spot to get a bite and some coffee. Came here to work remotely, plenty of space. Great cold brew and their food items are really good too. Also their staff are very friendly. Overall a great vibe.

Very cute interior design! Super high ceilings, with a rustic meets industry aesthetic. I got their iced lavender latte which had a great subtle flavor — not too sweet, but still coffee and very refreshing! The service is super fast and the staff is super friendly :D Bathroom requires a code.

Have you ever had a list of coffee shops to visit but then got stuck going back to the first over and over because of how good their coffee is? Well, that is Merit Coffee Co. They consistently made one of the best flat whites I have ever had. Cannot wait to get back to Dallas to swing by for another, and another.

I was disappointed during my recent visit to this coffee shop. I ordered $20 worth of drinks, but was only given plastic to-go cups even though I asked for coffee mugs. Apparently, the shop has a rule to only serve drinks in plastic cups 2 hours before closing.

As a regular customer, I enjoy the coffee experience here and was let down that I couldn't fully enjoy it because of the plastic cups. Coffee just doesn't taste the same in plastic. I wish the shop would reconsider this policy and offer coffee mugs until closing time.

Despite this issue, I have always found the coffee to be great and the service to be decent, although the staff can be a bit reserved. I hope the shop can address this matter and make the coffee experience even better for its customers.
