I live walking distance to this coffee shop and couldn't be happier! It is high quality with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always very friendly. This is an excellent addition to the neighborhood. Most importantly, the coffee has been spot on each and every time I've gone there.

We live in GA and actually order coffee beans shipped to us monthly. We haven't found a coffee we enjoy as much! Highly recommend and hope to someday visit the shop in person again.

Moved to Dallas from NYC and the thing we missed most was the coffee. The coffee in Dallas is generally more burnt, much sweeter, and less consistent baseline. We find Merit and it reminded us of the city. Really good coffees, beans are great, and the baristas and staff safe very friendly.

Chai lattes are very good. Unfortunately the coffee leaves much to be desired for someone who has experienced high quality coffee shops. The brewed coffee as well as the cold brew is too dilute — lacks flavor. Not sure what ratio they use for water to coffee but from the taste of it I’d guess they’re using closer to 20:1 rather than 16-18:1. A small improvement in brew method could really improve the quality of their product.

Ambiance is nice, unfortunately the coffee is fair at best based on their current brew methods.

Had a very peppermint holiday drink that made it a bit hard to tell how the coffee was but did the trick. Seating was well supplied.

If you don't live near Epic Coffee in Flower Mound, try Merit. Cool, hip, great roasted and terrific people watching.

I barely rate anything and this is the first time. I was trying to find the best coffee places to study and this place is my favorite ever in Dallas in the last two years.
🔺 Location and atmosphere: in center of Deep Allum and close by with other crowded stores and convenient to walk around. The construction of the stores creates creativity and relaxing environment! (10/10)

🔺 Price and quality: decent. I believe since it just opened, so the drink still needs to improve to reach their goals. In general, not too bad! I hope to see the improvement. (8/10)
