Food selection was excellent and everything was cooked perfect, presentation of food and deserts Instagram worthy. We especially enjoyed the fresh pasta bar. The staff was on point, all friendly and very helpful. The couple of things that were not 5 star worthy is the price, I know you have a captive audience and you likely could shave something off the price to make the experience more palatable. The other is too many flies, it was very annoying and turned me off to the beautiful deserts. Figure it out, there has to be a way to keep them out.

The food was good and fresh, but what really made our experience was our server, Crystal, who went out of her way to make sure we were happy. She was amazing!!!

The atmosphere was nice. The property is beautiful to walk through. The burgers were excellent, they were using the menu for the restaurant that shares the kitchen next door. The staff was friendly. The wait time was terrible... my guess is they are dealing with the same problem so many places are and just can't find enough help..

Morning buffet was mostly good. Most of the food was lukewarm though. French toast was not even warm. Had a great assortment of fruits and berries. Coffee on the first day was barely warm. Second day I just went to Starbucks and took it in there when I ate. The baked pastry table was excellent. Fresh and very delicious. The price for this is very steep.

Food has gone way down hill over the years. Been coming here every year for 13 years. Last year we were very frustrated with the quality of the food and this year there were several times that we were gagging. I skipped dinner upon seeing what was on my family’s plates one night because it looked straight up like bad school cafeteria food. No flavor, low quality meat. My kids wouldn’t even eat more than one bite of their desserts because they were so gross, like something stale out of a gas station.

I adore this restaurant!!!! The whole restaurant overlooks the outdoor common play area at the Hyatt Lost Pines, so you can watch your kids play right from your table. The buffet is incredible...there is something on the buffet for everyone, and it is all delicious!!! The pasta station is unbelievable as well...I was able to custom order the most delicious pasta dish I've ever eaten!! Desserts are also out of this world. My son especially loved the chocolate fountain where he could dip his marshmallows and other treats!! The service is perfect as well!

We had to ask for hotter coffee... But other than that it was great!

Was waiting for 15min never got my order taken. Made multiple eye contacts with waitresses and still didn’t take our order.

I brought my family of 6 for Thanksgiving this year. The food tasted great but it was very very very difficult to get any. We sat there for about 30 mins waiting for the 1st course which was a salad served family style, and the one salad hey left was enough for 1 person. They also left 4 dinner rolls, for 6 people. A good hour went by, and FINALLY they brought some food. They left a very small bowl of potatoes and stuffing on the table as well as gravy, and on a raised thing, as though the centerpiece, we some green beans, in the largest bowl. The meat “due to space”, was served by the staff and not left at the table. No one explained that you could request more, since there was definitely not enough food left at the table. There were also NO SERVING UTENSILS!!! We had one set of tongs for the green beans which we were trying to use for everything, but no serving utensils. It was bizarre. The issue in terms of getting food, is that rarely did anyone come back to the table and when they finally did, we requested more ham, beef, and potatoes. At least another half hour or more went by, and they brought ham and beef, no potatoes. We had to wait another 15 minutes for the potatoes. You had to eat everything essentially separately and what little was left on the table was cold. It was so poorly orchestrated & the portions were so small and almost impossible to get, it was obvious they were trying to underserve. The other huuuuuge issue was how unbelievably freezing/frigid the temperature was in the restaurant. I personally was so cold I almost couldn’t move. Other tables were complaining and I and my husband as well as some other poor frozen guy, went to stand by the gas fireplace for a bit. I finally reported this to the staff as
I roamed around to find someone and they possibly might have turned the temperature up 2 degrees or so . I think there needs to be a system in place that first of all, ensures the food is brought out in a timely manner, that there’s a way to serve it, that the patrons are informed that they can ask for more food and that the staff comes around to see what more is needed and then promptly delivers it. The portions need to be adequate for the number of people at the table, and since it was served “family style” the food needed to actually have been left at the table instead of the staff having to hold back and serve very small portions of meat by themselves.
