Mescalito Coffee

One of the best cups of coffee I've ever tasted. Found inside the Ballad of the Bird Dog shop, these ladies are killing it with the aesthetics and flavors. Rustic wood, hand crafted leather, and sweet sweet coffee are all you need

Coffee was excellent! Very smooth and the syrup was just right. If I were a local this would be a go to for me. Should we return to this area, I will definitely go return for coffee & a warm scone (which by the way was also delicious). They also have items to check out so you can do a little shopping while you wait. Overall, great place.

A really well designed boutique style coffee shop with ice-cream and other things to eat. There's also a retail area with high end products on the upper split level. There's a neat patio at the rear, and a covered seating area in the front. I really liked the interior design of this space, especially all of the custom steel work. The ice cream isn't Baskin Robins size scoops, smaller, but still good. Retail items are higher end so higher end prices also. Nice Texas Bohemian vibes and a good asset for downtown Brenham.

Absolutely love this place! 5 stars from the bakery items, to the specialty coffees and the gifts and goods! This 3 in 1 (Mescalito Coffee, Too Pieces Bake Shop & Ballad of The Bird Dog) space is truly a one stop shop to gather, enjoy a fresh brew or bite and pick up a gift for a friend or yourself! I love that there is now a beautiful place in downtown Brenham to meet up with clients or friends & family! There is also plenty of space and outlets to work remotely from and the WiFi is strong! SUCH A BONUS!

Faves: the overall vibe of the building and space, amazing staff, extensive menu(including matcha and golden lattes + all the dairy free milks), blueberry scones and the coffee syrups… Mescalito is amazing!

Love this place! Come here every time I visit Brenham. The coffee is spot on and love getting matcha lattes. Added bonus shopping for clothes and unique gifts.

A coffee shop with only medium roast🤔... and bagels that eat more like a kolache. It was tasty though.

New location is spacious yet cozy with several tables to sit down and enjoy your coffee delight. Also has a gift shop/candle store connected in the back.

The best coffee shop in Brenham! Love the vibes, and the iced lattes are amazing (not too sweet) - I wish I could tolerate more caffeine to try the iced tea options as well. There’s also a really nice store in the same space to shop around in. We went to Mescalito each day we stayed in Brenham for our coffee fix

Nice, friendly staff. Great selection of coffee and tea drinks. Espresso was fantastic. Clean restrooms. Neat extra merchandise, including a variety of coffee making tools and items.
