Mescalito Coffee

THE best coffee shop between Austin & Houston! 👏🏼👏🏼 My husband and I NEVER make a trip to Houston without stopping here! The coffee and pastries are both excellent — the blueberry scone is the best one we’ve ever had. It’s worth the trip every single time!!! Not to mention, the aesthetics are *chef’s kiss*. Overall, one of our favorite coffee shops and it will soon be yours too!

Where do I even begin?!
I made my first trip to Brenham to coordinate a wedding and found myself at Mescalito each morning of my short time in town. I enjoyed my hot Chai Tea Latte while my cousin enjoyed an iced coffee drink (I’m not a coffee drinker so not sure of the details). We both devoured our sausage kolaches and split a delicious homemade dessert.
Their tagline is “Worth the Drive” and I’ll tell you, I’d definitely come all the way back up from the Rio Grande Valley to sit in this beautiful space in historic Downtown Brenham.
Aside from the culinary experience, the aesthetic is so warm and inviting. I missed Mescalito when I was back home in the RGV.

A little coffee shop with various unique merchandise. There isn’t really a place to sit and enjoy your coffee except 2 tables outside this shop and some benches and chairs. But the coffee smells really good

The coffee and service, are outstanding. A day trip lands me in Brenham on Sunday. What I am not expects is a top class coffee shop what I found. The baristas know their coffee tastes good, I am told. No, vegan. The ambience is super with a boutique attached ballad of the bird, that has actual. It’d fogs. A first choice anywhere

A fantastic coffee shop and exactly what Brenham needed! Not only is the coffee delicious, but when you dine in, a design in the froth/cream of the mug is created which wasn’t expected but certainly a nice touch. Also, when served the 12oz mug and saucer, there is a sweet little surprise message etched into the saucer, again superb attention to details. Obviously there was a lot of thought put into creating an inviting experience and high end aesthetic. I can’t recommend this place enough! Both my friends and colleagues enjoy meeting here for coffee. Thank you Mescalito for investing in our community!

I must say. The staff is very friendly and it was my 1st time going. I'm about to try one fo those coffee shakes and I bet it'll be good. The ladies who work here are very nice. I got blushing a little. God bless them and I will comeback anytime of the week on mornings when I'm off. Update: I was patient for my drink and I was understandable it was busy it's about to be their 1st week here. Their shakes are way better than Yumm's. I appreciate their new business here so much. I'll definitely come back whenever I need coffee on the go. Next time I'll try their pastries.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Mescalito Coffee! It is in a great spot right on the square in downtown Brenham, TX. I had an iced honey cinnamon latte and it was delicious! They had several unique syrup flavor options that all sounded really good. The space inside was super nice, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We will absolutely be back in the future, and I would recommend it to anyone in the Brenham area!

Smelled wonderful upon walking in. Our lattes were good on a cold day. Cookies were good too. Cashier was nice but seemed distracted. Very busy and loud on a Saturday afternoon.

We ordered a cappuccino and an almond milk latte with honey cinnamon syrup and a cookie for the kiddos. Delicious! It's not too hot. They have their machines set at proper temperatures so as not to burn the coffee beans. Looking forward to stopping by again!

Always stop in Brenham when I go for a motorcycle ride to have a coffee and walk the area. Mescalito Coffee has finally opened and stopped by there. It is absolut my beautiful inside and the coffee was excellent. Have now a new go to address to have breakfast. There is a cute little boutique attached to it as well. Would highly recommend it.
