Very rude town city employee tried to run us over. Restaurant doesn't cater to its customers over priced

Pricey but consistently good for breakfast. Love the egg-white frittata.

Cute boutique with a great little restaurant. Bakery and coffee too. Delicious food.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious, high quality food. The owner stopped by our table and was such a pleasant man with a genuine interest in getting to know a bit about his customers. He let us know they will be open for dinner soon and after meeting him and having such a delicious lunch, we can wait to go back.

The reviews erroneously made me think this place would be a great place to check out.
It goes to show you that a large proportion of the population that write reviews for restaurants have very low expectations…Here’s a New Year’s resolution, stop trusting reviews (ignore mine, but at your own peril).
Ah, let’s see, it took the scatter brained waitress a good 15 minutes to greet us, although a sundry crew of waiters and waitresses continued passing us by as though we had leprosy. The coffee tastes sour as though it was mixed with gall, and the “street tacos” that my poor wife ordered were flour tortilla straight off the shelf at the local HEB and had American cheese mingled in with a smattering of barely noticeable chorizo. It took over 20 minutes to get $15 tacos to the table (two small tacos); yes, you heard me—$15!
I got the standard breakfast plate, the waitress said I could get wheat, sourdough, or a biscuit…I chose the biscuit (why not?). What she didn’t tell me was that the biscuit was a $4 charge for the pathetic little half-dollar size biscuit. Yay!
Guess what our bill was for apple juice, coffee, breakfast tacos, and a small breakfast plate? $58!!!!!!!! The joke is on me because I had the audacity to rely on the reviews from previous patrons.
I’d gladly pay that amount for a fantastic breakfast, but this was anything but.
Raise your hand if you think I’m coming back. I’d rather go to Bear Moon down the road where they may not be friendly, but the food and baked goods are superior in comparison.
Can I rate this restaurant with zero stars?

Dienger's Bistro has been a favorite place for lunch for several years. And, I love and often purchase the merchandise in the store. So, it pains me to say I was greatly disappointed when visiting the Bistro for dinner. The meals we chose did not live up to our expectations. The meat loaf was smothered in a sweet ketchup-like sauce that my dinner partner had to scrape off to make the non-descript meatloaf somewhat palatable. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was tough and served with a corn and green tomato concoction that appeared to be in gravy. I was hoping this venue would provide another option for dinner but I doubt we'll go back. At the prices they charge, I prefer not to experiment again.

Just moved to San Antonio from Dallas and decided to visit Boerne. This is the most adorable and amazing place! We came for lunch and the owner stopped by the table and introduced himself. The food is spectacular! We had the biscuits and gravy and the hill country American breakfast; both were to die for. The gravy melts in your mouth. We can’t wait to come back for dinner!

Expect great food for breakfast, not cheap but worth the price, Very good coffee, great bakery, Texas size servings, excellent service, Spanish spoken.

Such a cute location! Coffee was not bad, it was just average I would say.
