Bakery Lorraine at Boerne

Wow! What a hidden gem in the heart of Boerne Texas not too far from San Antonio. As a visitor from out of town I enjoy finding local owned places and this one may be on my top 10 list so far. First, parking was full but spots still available - always a good sign. Delightful atmosphere to the well designed entry and attached rooms. Greeted with the friendliest smile and a heart sized portion of Texas hospitality. Enjoyed asking questions about a few of the menu items and hearing about some of the very special pastries. So hard to choose just one pastry. All looked so fresh and amazing. My only regret is not finding this amazing place sooner. Ordered a sandwich and pastry to go and will try to return before my trip is over. Very nice menu selection and of course the first bite of the pastry was beyond delicious. 5 star plus recommendation for this darling local bakery with breakfast and sandwiches as well.

We had lunch here today. I had The Cuban sandwich and another in our party had the Chicken Salad Croissant. The Cuban was very good. The chicken salad croissant was mostly croissant. It needed much more "stuffing".
Parking at this establishment can prove difficult during peak times of the day.

The desserts were AMAZING! And beautiful!

But the best part was the sweet woman behind the counter. She was so excited about everything she was selling that I thought she was the owner. Nope. Just loves her job! :-)

Checking out the new Bakery Lorraine in Boerne. Love the design and layout of this location which is spacious and has a nice outdoor area with trees and shade. The same offerings at the other locations and a serene vibe.

Great experience! Food was delicious. Great service and great food. The tomato soup fit the weather.

Very happy with the cake. Life happened and we ended up not having the party it was meant for, but they saved it while we were traveling back to Texas and we still get to enjoy the cake. And it’s delicious. Thank you!

This place is beautifully done, and the food is great. However, the coffee/latte service is struggling a bit. The first time we went the lattes took a pretty long time, but they were absolutely delicious… so we got over the wait.This time, we ordered a full breakfast with Lattes. The food came out, fresh, hot, very good, though a little pricey. We had to check on our latte order twice and I guess they “lost the ticket”, b/c they came out at the end of our meal. They were half full, forgot the vanilla and not very hot. So that was a big bummer :/ it’s a really cool place, but the coffee orders taking that long is a little crazy to me. Plus they didn’t really taste anything like the first time we got them. Hoping they can improve that, so we can make it a regular spot. So far Boerne Grill for breakfast is still my go-to.

Charming atmosphere and great service. The Quiche Lorraine with potatoes was flavorful but the custard wasa bit soft and, for the price, lacked an appealing plating. The Grilled Cheese Sandwich was tasty and abundant in both cheese and ecoutrement, and well enjoyed. The cinnamon rolls were tasty but a little hard. Overall a much needed and appreciated addition to the generally limited (in scope) food scene in Boerne.

Not sure if these are baked daily with that being said they the German chocolate could have been a little bit more moist but filling was delicious
The Red Velvet was pretty good

Got hooked on Kouign Amman pastry in Cambridge (Caffe Nero), glad to find a source in TX. Beautiful addition to Boerne's offerings for catching up with friends and family!
