So many choices! We had a variety of things and each one was great! The biscuits were very good…texture was spot on. Drinks were good and the location is a nice area to relax and enjoy the Main Street vibe.

The Avocado toast is delicious. I’ve never had anything like it. There was a line to place an order but it moves fast.

Best bakery in town. So many options and the pastries always taste fresh. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you always want savory they have one of the best breakfast sandwiches!

We're on our honeymoon and decided to stop in for breakfast, which was exquisite - their breakfast sandwich was unlike any other but such a great combination of flavors! Seasonal coffee items as well as pastries. Loved the variety of cultural pastries and the lovely mini muffins they surprised us with. Definitely a must-see if you are visiting Boerne ❤

Their breakfast sandwich was so good! It was so filling we had to save our danishes for later. They smell amazing though. The location is cute and everyone was very nice. The aren't super quick when you order something hot, but I've noticed a lot of Boerne is set at a slower pace. It was definitely worth the wait.

It's unfortunate that people don't feel the need to be friendly or anything. I came in a couple of days ago to ask them about being able to get certain items for a wedding day breakfast this weekend. The people that I dealt with that day were friendly and advised me that I should come in Friday morning at 7am to get the items to make sure I had them in time for Saturdays wedding.

I came in at 7am and was told, "nope we don't have it and I'm not making any." No apology for telling me prior that they would. No smile even to be like, oh I'm so sorry for any misunderstanding we just don't have it at this time. Just nothing but a brush off and treating like I was a bother. (Not by the cashier, but the baker)

I'm sorry, but during these times people are being choosier with where they spend their money... being kind will go a long way.

To Management: Why are you placing rainbow hearts on take out bags? I’m assuming you are either: (1) celebrating a miracle baby who was born following a mother's miscarriage, also known as a rainbow baby, or (2) celebrating gay pride, because the rainbow has historically symbolized equality for the LGBTQ+ community. If it's (2), then I feel you are discriminating against people who are not lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer.
I get it, the heart shape is recognized the world over as a symbol of love and affection, but why exclude the majority to bring attention to a minority? Doesn’t it make more sense to place ❤️ or 💜 heart stickers on your bags, to be more inclusive? Both these colors are commonly used to represent love, support, close bonds, and admiration for everyone; LGBTQ, heterosexual, black, white, brown, etcetera. Even a 💚 is generally used to convey love and other strong, affectionate, positive feelings.

Your motto is cool….”The Mission of the Community Bakery is to nourish the community Heart”. Just make sure you include all hearts and not just a select few.

Cute small cafe in downtown Boerne. The wait was long, but you can gaze over the amazing pastries they have while you wait. The staff seemed overwhelmed. They offer a buffet style breakfast for only $15, seems like a good deal but we opted out since we weren’t that hungry. I ordered the French toast with a side of bacon, both good. My husband got the breakfast sandwich which he loved.
The lavender honey iced latte is amazing!!

Overall would recommend and come here again when we’re in town.

Fantastic breakfast buffet. The biscuits are delicious as is pretty much everything from the bakery. Must try the buttermilk scone. Lunch menu is a little limited. Love their rainforest caramel coffee. And on Tuesdays all of their coffee including lattes and espresso is only $1!

Quick stop for some baked goodies while driving back from the Hill Country. Coffees were served hot and tasted quite nice. Sheath Cake was moist but would've benefitted from some textural additions (toffee pieces?). Chocolate croissant was superb. Did I mention how tasty the chocolate croissant was?! Yes, get two. Wife loved her scone. Boys loved their hot chocolate with whip cream. Very clean interior and super friendly employees. We will definitely be back next time in the area.

TIP: There is an area with tables and tree covering across the street that appears to be available for seating when you get your goodies to go.
