Great history and even better food. Their Chicken salad on a croissant sets a high standard for this classic dish.

All the food I've tried so far is amazing! I would recommend the quiche Loraine for breakfast and the chicken salad crossient for lunch. The macaroons we're the best I've ever had. I've been back three days in a row to try new things and check out their building.

My first impressions of this restaurant after walking in weren't great. I was eating alone and there were plenty of open 2 top tables available but I still had to wait a while to get seated. Looking over the menu, everything seemed to be listed at a premium price.

I contemplated leaving, but before I could, my server arrived and took my drink order. I resigned to stay and decided to order the biscuits and gravy.

Y'all, they need to serve it with more gravy because that was the best gravy I've had since I left Mama's house. The biscuits were tall and fluffy with a nice crunchy top and a fluffy center. I'm hooked.

The service, while slow, was great and my server was very pleasant. It's started out rough but it ended great.

Take your ladies to this place…. Smells amazing and all I heard was… “I’m my this is cute…”. And “smell this isn’t it amazing”!!! Yes yes my love of course!

When this place first opened, they really tried to serve a great experience. My wife and I have been several times over the years. After our most recent experience I would never recommend or go back.

When we walked sat down after ordering we had to select a table that was "cleaned off"( we still had a used glass at ours). So many of the tables still had dirty plates/glasses/rolled up napkins remaining on them. In fact the entire 40 minutes we were there, never once saw anyone come out clean tables. I felt really bad for this one family they came in and sat down and moved dirty plates and glasses out of their way. And then had their food served in the same condition, no cleaning. I don't know if they are just understaffed or what.

I ordered a black coffee, it was extremely bitter I didn't even finish it. My wife ordered a latte, so ridiculously overpriced, but she remembered they were at least a decent size. Nope. They cut the size by half. But kept the price.

Served our food without any utensils so I had to go find those. No glasses for water. No checking to see if anyone needed anything. Terrible service. Overpriced food. It at least tastes good but I won't be going back for that alone. Sad to see it go down hill like this. They just seem to not care.

Top place to eat in Boerne. Do yourself a favor. Breakfast, brunch and lunch. Make sure you visit the boutique before you leave.

The food on a good day, I could tell would be good. We are from out of town, stopped by for breakfast on our way out of our Airbnb so we are not regulars. I’m not sure what happened today, but our food must have taken at least 45 minutes. We had three kids with us, one of them being 1 1/2 y/o so you can imagine how the wait was. Then one of our items we ordered was never put in, which is fine. Inconvenient, but fine. Maybe my expectations were too high, the aesthetics of the place were beautiful & definitely a lovely place and maybe it’s just not a family friendly place & it’s our fault for that. Just too many things that went south for me to recommend. Buttttt I will say the avocado toast was bomb. That’s about it. Don’t recommend for families or if you’re looking for decent timed service, or if you come on an empty stomach hungry ready to eat. More of a chill/lounge spot when you’re casually meeting some friends or if you want to sit outside reading a book. The end.

Nice place but can get super crowded for breakfast, got there at 10 but couldn't get seated before breakfast was over. And the coffee bar has one barrista serving a long line of patrons. A local recommended it,, the building is iconic. The pastries looked delicious, tried a scone that was ok, coffee decent. A tourist destination.

Came here for lunch but was closing. Super trendy. Looked around in the store. I get ideas to search for quality goods at places like this on sale online. Expensive.....

This has become a family favorite for breakfast and brunch. The service is always great and you're made to feel welcome and appreciated, whether it's the takeaway counter service or the dine-in. Definitely try the scones. They're the best I've had anywhere. Don't miss the shopping, either. It has some real Texas treasures. The men's department is always a good bet for the hard to buy for guy in your life. All around a reliable Boerne staple.
