Quick google search for Coffee lead me here, visiting from out of town. Cappuccino was on point! While I enjoyed my delicious cup, my daughter had a smoothy and one of their donut which she scarfed down. Also got some cookies to-go! Delicious! Gingersnap was awesome! Great place if your on the hunt for a mighty fine coffee and treats!

Went on 10/12/2022 wanting the breakfast buffet as sign outside posted. Only 1 couple there & only pastries. We left.

Great brunch here with a buffet that is out of this world good! Has great waiters that are always attentive and very personable. They also offer off the menu options for both breakfast and lunch. Daily specials add to what makes this a great place for a meal. It is also great place to stop in between meals because of the wide variety of bakery items they offer.

The best!! I have been coming here for 11 years! Always will recommend.

Homestly, I understand we have a covid problem, but there is extreme and then there is practical. They used to have a decent, overpriced buffet, but hey, it was good food. Not there now. Serve one person at a time, enter to the right so you cant shop while waiting your turn, so when its your turn you feel rushed due to 4 people waiting their chance begind you. Then they dont offer to heat, you gotta remind them, then, they didnt give a receipt and I was shorted a pastry, but who is going to stand back in line to correct anything? Exit to the left.

Cute little place to have breakfast. Yummy pastries. We had the buffet, which had 2 types of eggs to choose from, yogurt bar, and just about anything else you could think of wanting. All in a tiny alcove. It was quite crowded, but I think more of it as being "cozy". :) Delicious bakery goods!

The warm sandwiches are my favorite, you can't go wrong. The bakery has some delicious goods to and if you order a croissant they serve it warm. The staff is helpful and takes the time to go through the menu with you and make any modifications if needed.

When we first moved to Boerne, this was easily one of our favorite places to pop in. The pastries are delightful (shout out to the chocolate croissants) and my wife was a big fan of the Cookies and Milk Evenings! Such a fabulous midweek pick me up! The trail mix (still sold) is also out of this world good; great for snacks and road trips.

However, its restriction of open hours has been really hard. Whenever we want to pop by spontaneously (typically evenings) we realize they won’t be open. Now I understand that COVID-19 concern has really done a number on small businesses like this. It’s terrible that a wonderful shop like Bear Moon would suffer and struggle, which is why I assume the hours are reduced. Unfortunately though, this is one of the few shops in Boerne that still has a mask mandate (?!?!) as of May 5, 2 months after our governor ended it. Cases didn’t go up, they went down and continue to. Hard to support this political virtue signaling. Hard to comprehend it too, for a small business affected as I’m sure it was by the panic over distancing and masking. I’m a PA and faculty in Emergency Medicine; let me say, it’s really time to give this stuff up.

Very good muffins wish they made more gluten free muffins because there out so fast. The coffee is good to love that they have stevia.
