Bear Moon Bakery Cafe

Have been coming here for years, and I see it’s changed quite a bit. Went in on a weekday, no greeting whatsoever. Asked about breakfast, and the girl at the counter pointed to about 4-5 items on a menu. Doesn’t seem to be an “eat in” place anymore. More of a bakery. Very odd set up now. We ate elsewhere.

We really like Bear Moon, we've been coming here since they opened. Have had their sit down breakfast which we like very much, now primarily take out pastries. The staff is friendly and their food and pastries are fantastic. When you first walk in, the fresh bakery smell hits you, it's GREAT!! Anything they make, we enjoy. We also appreciate their strategy during the height of Covid, we are glad they made it and kept their doors open. We will continue to come here to support local.

OMG, this place made me love Boerne, Texas even more. The pickled squash with the Cuban sandwich, so, delicious. I really enjoyed the squash, I can eat it by itself. Ironically, I don't like pickles but, love pickle squash, Lol. The serving size is great. I ate half of sandwich there and the other half was boxed. You must try the Scones. This is definitely a place to visit and please enjoy the town by sitting outside.

Ohhh Sugar Soo good. We're Back today was Raspberry Danish and a Cheese Pocket, so good.

Really good coffee and pastry. One of the few places that I try to go at least once a week. Mainly for the croissants

I am not sure why my review is not showing up?? I visited on Saturday around 12pm after waiting patiently in line was never acknowledged even as I walked out! I waited patiently and don’t mind the wait because my daughter and I feel in love with your place since relocating in 2015! It was my turn in front of the line and 3 workers behind the counter and none acknowledged by saying Hi, welcome, be right with you, or a simple smile! So after a few minutes of standing there waiting I walked out! No one said anything I guess I went unnoticed! A simple greeting can go a long way! I am also not sure why my review I posted on Saturday is not showing?

Love this place. It is always a special time and great morning when I take my kiddos here. It’s always a great experience. Parking is easy with a lot in the back and ample street parking. My kiddos love picking out an iced cookie and getting the “cheesy pigs.” I love their scones and highly recommend the breakfast sandwich! It is SO good and worth the wait as it is made fresh in the kitchen. Also, there is seating both indoors and outdoors.

Found this place during a romantic weekend getaway. Nice walk from The Kendall Inn. Usually has one gluten free muffin selection in stock. Nice pastry, lunch, and coffee selection.

Wonderful selection and great tasting pastries, coffee as well as savory options. The best avocado toast I've ever had!
