Bear Moon Bakery Cafe

Excellent breakfast food! We went inside and didn't see that they served breakfast foods (eggs and bacon, etc) other than bakery case items, so we almost left. My wife asked a person outside and you just have to sit down and they will come and serve you. I'm glad we stayed - their food is awesome. Waitstaff is attentive and friendly.

In midafternoon their selection was low and coffee was awful!

Food was good enough to make up for the terrible service. Sat for about 10 minutes and watched these teenage girls run around with no real management before one of them finally took our drink order. The people at the table next to us experienced the same thing and actually left. They were actually overstaffed it seemed at the time but we still waited forever to be helped. But yeah the food was that good, ill go back again.

The baked goods are amazing
Breakfast bar is great and breakfast menu items are very
good as well.
The lunch menu is very good and their soups are excellent.
It is a small cafe so expect to wait a bit if you go around a
peak time. In my experience it is worth the wait.

Everything we had here was good. The chorizo, egg biscuit was excellent.

Defiantly try the bear claws also, so good.

I would of taken pictures to post on here but we ate it all too fast.

Any trip to Bourne is incomplete without stopping in here for some pigs cookies and pastries.

The staff is great. Very pleasant and the scones are fantastic. My grandfather wanted to eat here as we passed through town (nostalgia), but has ambulatory and judgment issues and requires a walker. The building is small and old, it may not accomodate a wheelchair. They can place a ramp on the kitchen exit if you call ahead and ask.

Great little bakery cafe with a selection of tasty treats sure to please everyone. Excellent coffee, too. When things return to normal, don't miss out on their breakfast buffet or any one of their delicious sandwiches.

Best breakfast in town. They have a buffet breakfast most days starting at 8 that has everything (fruit, pancakes, french toast, biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, grits, pastry, etc.) they also have a great variety of fresh pastries to eat there or take with you. Went 2 days in a row and none of us had anything that wasn't excellent.

One of our favorite lunch spots in the past. Very disappointed!! The once full menu has been reduced to very limited sandwich and soup plus quiches. We were too late for pricey breakfast buffet. I ordered broccoli quiche. Over baked, soggy, and very strangely seasoned. Had a big chunk of rosemary stem. Only accompanying side was a small thin wedge of watermelon an half of a very thin slice of grapefruit. Husband's small sandwich did not offer a different bread option and was very dry. For over twenty dollars, our"upscale" lunch was sadly lacking. Clearly catering to latte and pastry crowd.
